Hi everyone, this is Birdie, she is a very loving 5 year old calico who’s available for rehoming/adoption. Birdie is an excellent cuddle buddy and will happily hop up onto your lap if you’re sitting/laying on the couch. She also will definitely try to pop a squat on your lap while you’re working at your desk. She loves to be pet, meeting new people, and sunny patches on the carpet. She is a prolific hunter of all kinds of bugs so don’t be surprised if you see her catch a fly mid air one day. Her favorite things are wet food, hanging out on the balcony, fresh cold filtered water, and hair ties. The only thing with Birdie is that she must be the only cat in a home. She does not get along well with other cats and she has had issues in the past with bullying other cats. Birdie loves humans but, to put it simply, hates other cats with a passion. Hi everyone, meet Tama! She was given to me by a co-worker 2-3 years back after finding her and the rest of her litter in a box on the sidewalk covered in filth and fleas. Despite her rough start, Tama is a playful and docile couch potato. She's never been aggressive or mean. She allows us to bathe her, brush her, trim her nails, and brush her teeth without much of a fight although she doesn't like the process. She is timid of the carrier and at the vet she's been known to pee out of nervousness. She's in good health despite being overweight. Efforts to put her on a diet haven't been successful on account she will steal her sibling's food. She loves the laser toy and the Churu treats. If her litter box is not up to her standards, she will go potty right next to the litter box as her form of protest. She will also follow you through the house and meow if she wants more food or water. She enjoys laying on the floor flat as opposed to her comfy bed at times.

She was rescued from an alley in South L.A. with her siblings and momma, and now is a well-adjusted and happy indoor cat. She is very smart and enjoys watching mice and fish videos. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, he needs a better home or to be with other active cats to play with!!! His personality needs more than we can give. We adopted Smaug back in April 2023 with another black cat from a different foster home. They warmed up quickly and get along well. Unfortunately, our lifestyle doesn't seem to do well for him as he is a very engaged cat. He loves attention and will let you know when he wants to play or lay on the couch or bed with you, even when you are in a meeting or busy. After many months of trying to find things that may keep him engaged or busy until his humans are free, it seems that he just really needs human affection and attention more often than we can provide. Smaug loves to play, but also loves relax time in the evening when he can lay on the couch with you. He enjoys looking outdoors and playing with a variety of toys with his human. He comes with a single cat carrier, toys, and a walking harness. We will drive him to you (LA area).
