I’m Medley, a beautiful dilute calico or maybe tortie with a coat as vibrant as my personality. I was named for the "medley" of soft colors in that coat. If you’re looking for a chill companion, you’ve just found her! With a reputation for being the most well-behaved kitty around, I’m the perfect blend of playful and serene. I’ve had quite the journey, transitioning from the streets of San Bernardino to the cozy comforts of my foster home. I was at an abandoned house that once hosted 60 cats, and most all died from panleukopenia, aka, panleuk. But, I was healthy except for a chronic anemia that Feline the Love treated for six months, and I didn’t have much energy. That was almost two years ago, and I'm rockin'! (It's hard to live outside with sick cats, little food, and trying to survive. Right?) My health records are complete and always available to show how healthy and grateful I am! Voila! Now, I’m a bundle of energy, and I’m ready to find my forever family! I adore lounging by the window, watching the world go by, but I promise—no more outdoor adventures for me. I’m all about that indoor life! While I’m a low-key gal and not much of a chatterbox, I do love gentle hand sniffs before you pet me. Trust me, back scratches are the ultimate treat! My purr, is, well, the BEST. I don't meow a lot (I know you like to focus!) but when I do, it is SOOO cute, like me! I’d thrive best as your one-and-only feline or with another laid-back kitty by my side. I’m not a fan of drama, but if there’s a dashing boy cat around, I might just take a liking to him! Several years ago, the Cat Club lost a long-time member who always maintained the #1 female in his life was his cat, Cali. We found a wonderful home for Cali, which unfortunately ended when her adopter entered assisted living recently. So, Cali is once again seeking a human companion. This kitty was showered with love her whole life and, as a result, she is very trusting and affectionate in return. Cali is a lovely calico, with soft multicolor fur and big greenish eyes. A friendly lapcat lady who likes people, Cali has also gotten along fine with dogs, cats, and children. She's been vet-checked, she's up-to-date on all her shots, and she's a healthy 14-year-old. Cali enjoys pets and snuggling, playing with wands and toys, and a pinch of catnip now and then. She's a very sweet laid-back lady cat just hoping to love again. She has scarring on her eyes due to an old infection as a baby kitten. She is healed now but the scarring makes her vision impaired. We think she can only see colors & shapes. She needs a slow opportunity to settle into a new space and she will be always nervous when she goes somewhere new because she cannot see. So she’s looking for an adopter who can take great care of her & allow her time to warm up slowly. Once she warms up she is extremely affectionate. She needs restrictions in her new home to keep her safe. High stairs or railings could be dangerous for her so they would need to be blocked off. Lower cat trees would also be a good idea instead of really high ones. We don’t want her to fall off or fall down high stairs or places. Jelly is a lap cat. She purrs a lot, loves attention and being petted, plays with her toys, loves to eat, and allows her foster Mom to pick her up and hold her. She’s a sweetheart. Her foster Mom reports: She voluntarily climbs into my lap, purring. And she’s the easiest cat to care for! We found her at a Chick-fil-A, scared but incredibly trusting. Though she may be a bit shy at first, with a few gentle strokes, she quickly warms up and becomes the cuddliest companion. She absolutely loves belly rubs and, once she feels safe, will happily curl up on your lap for snuggles. To help her adjust, we gave her a quiet space at first, then slowly let her explore. In no time, she was cuddling up on the couch, purring away. With love and a little patience, Tickle will be the most affectionate and loyal friend you could ask for.
