Story
We MUST NOT let this mother and FOUR NEWBORN kittens be put back onto the streets! Mom is a SUPER FRIENDLY Calico Sweetheart- kittens were born last week (neighbor took the pregnant Mom indoors to be safe but cannot keep them there!) These four tiny babies are still WITH MOM, we need a FOSTER HOME for the four kittens WITH the Calico Mom! If you have a GUEST room or other SAFE SPACE where Mom can raise her babies, YOU get to PLAY WITH THE KITTENS and help socialize them, then YOU may be considered to adopt the PICK OF THE LITTER (Preferably two, of course, because kittens are best in pairs!) ACT FAST! With all of the RAIN COMING for the rest of the week its CRITICAL that these babies dont go back into the street! HELP! Please respond with a PHONE NUMBER and schedule a SPECIFIC TIME WINDOW to chat so we can expedite your application and SAVE THEIR LIVES!

Story
I am a lovable, affectionate, and sweet green-eyed angel. I am shy initially but I warm up nicely in a quiet environment. I am mellow and quiet but enjoy playing with wand toys and laser pointers. With motherhood behind me, I enjoy relaxing in bed and adore getting pets and chin scratches. I will purr an vocalize to get attention. I am calm, sweet-natured and fine with other gentle kitties. I am fine being independent, if needed, but really enjoy company.

These pups are in Carlsbad, California too!

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Amaretto is a 2 year old young lady that one of our volunteers rescued from a precarious life. She was living with her littermates on the street in a high danger zone. We couldn't leave them there, so our volunteer took all of them in to give them a chance at life. Amaretto is a shy girl, it will take her a while to warm up to her humans, but once she does, you have a friend for life. We know she appreciates having been rescued and wants to trust people so badly but it just takes her a little time. She could easily join a home with another cat or cat savvy dog. She is particularly fond of one of her siblings. So if you are interested in adopting a pair, please look at Kahlua's bio as well. They do not need to be adopted together, but if interested in two kitties, they would be a great duo. Because of her initial shyness, we would be open to a foster-to-adopt program with her. If you think she might be the one for you but want to do a trial period to make sure, we can arrange that. She loves her cat tree and soft beds in her foster home. And she is very treat motivated, so that would be a fast track to bonding with her. She just needs a forever person or family to give her a chance. We know her purrfect person will see her post and know she is the one! She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.November 5, 2024, 9:13 pm

He loves to be pet and rubs up against your legs to show his thankfulness to you. He especially loves mealtime, where he is the most vocal. He can't wait to see what's for breakfast, lunch and dinner! He could easily join a home with another cat or cat savvy dog. He is particularly fond of one of his siblings. And for that reason, we would be open to a foster-to-adopt program with him. If you think he might be the one for you but want to do a trial period to make sure, we can arrange that. She has been living with a couple other resident cats and four large breed dogs in her current foster home, so she is very well socialized and could join pretty much any kind of family dynamic.  She would be a great option for a home that wants a friend for an existing kitty or a cat savvy dog. She would also be fine with children. She would be just as happy being an only cat if you are looking for just one kitty to devote all your time too. She is very easy going. She has a very snuggly personality and loves to sleep with her humans in bed at night. She is confident, affectionate and smart. An all-round great kitty. If you think she is the one you have been searching for, apply to adopt this sweetheart as she is sure to be the 'cherry' on top of all your days!
