Story
Approximate Date of Birth:7/1/2024 Description:   Coral is an adorable, spirited little calico with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her playful and affectionate nature shines through. Coral enjoys spending time with her siblings, racing around and chasing them in delightful kitty playtime adventures. Toys of all kinds are her favorite—especially if they involve a bit of a chase! This precious girl is also a big fan of Churo treats, which are her ultimate indulgence. They’re a great way to win her over as she warms up to her new family! Coral has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), but that doesn’t stop her from being a joyful, playful kitten. Coral can have many wonderful years ahead of her, and with the right care, she’ll continue to thrive. Coral would do best in a home with other FeLV-positive cats, or as your one and only furry friend.  Adopting an FeLV-positive kitten like Coral means you’re giving a loving, deserving kitty a chance at happiness. With time, patience, and lots of love, Coral will be a sweet, playful companion who brings joy to your home every day. Words to Describe Me: Playful, affectionate, shy at first Favorite Place to Sleep: Kitty tower and a fluffy kitty bed Favorite Toy: Fuzzy ball jungle ball Kitty's Likes: Treats and playing fuzzy ball Kitty's Dislikes: Belly rubs Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Churo treats Good with Cats:  Likes cats given a proper introduction. Good with Dogs:    Likes dogs given a proper introduction.  Good with Children: Can live with children over the age of 5. Companion Animal: Requires a companion if left alone for long periods of time. Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Coral tested positive for        FeLV                therefore she would need to be in a home with other FeLV kitties (or adopt one of the other FeLV kitties in the rescue) or she can be your one and only girl.  Saving One Life will provide veterinary care throughout this feline's life. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Applications can be submitted on our website at  www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply. Story
Approximate Date of Birth: 4/10/2023 Description:   Meet Leah – a sweet and gentle soul ready for her forever home! Leah was rescued from the outdoors along with her three kittens, all of whom have found loving homes—now it’s her turn! This beautiful girl is sweet but shy, and she’ll need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space to feel safe and build trust. Once she settles in, Leah blossoms! She adores being petted and brushed, purring contentedly and even rolling over for belly rubs. Though she’s still a little hesitant to seek out affection on her own, she absolutely enjoys it when given. She has never shown any aggression—no scratching or biting—just a gentle heart learning to trust. Leah feels most comfortable in a smaller space at first, where she can’t hide under a bed but can get used to your presence. She responds to her name and finds comfort in hearing it, and she’s starting to warm up to interactive moments like slow blinks and squeeze-up treats. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet companion who just needs a little patience to shine, Leah could be the perfect match for you. Give this deserving girl the loving home she’s been waiting for! Words to Describe Me: Sweet. Story
Lily is a joyful, plump Calico cat with a stunning patchwork of orange, black, and white fur. Her round belly gently rounds out beneath her coat, adding to her charm. She lounges like royalty in the sun, savoring life’s simple pleasures. Her eyes gleam with warmth when her humans are near, and she loves being petted, especially behind the ears. The sensation fills her with happiness, causing her to stick her tongue out in contentment, purring loudly and tilting her head to invite more affection. Lily enjoys long naps, curling up in cozy spots to recharge for her next play session or a round of Temptations treats, which she adores. The crinkle of the bag excites her every time. She’s very particular about her litter box and insists on only the cleanest. While she loves her humans, Lily isn’t fond of other cats, often hissing at them if they get too close—she prefers being the only cat. With her humans, she’s playful, chasing a laser light with enthusiasm as she leaps.

Story
Kalani is a dilute calico, tabby. She is very sweet and lovable. She has a lot of energy and loves to run and play with toys and loves interactive toys. She especially loves to bird watch out a window or bat balls across a room. She is shy at first but warms up to people quickly. She doesn't love to be picked up and held, but does love petting and attention and purrs while being petted and will roll onto her back for belly rubs. She gets along with most cats after a very slow introduction. She would do best in a quiet home. Kalani has had a full-mouth extraction due to Stomatitis. It has completely cleared up and she's doing great. Approx. DOB: 7/1/22 If you would like to meet Kalani, please go to https://hart-az.org/hart-cats and fill out an application. If approved, we will contact you to set up a time for a meet and greet.

Story
We got Tigerlily as a kitten 8 years ago from Petsmart rescue. She was great for a few years. But was harassed by one of our other dogs. Not harmed, but she didn't appreciate his attention. She eventually stayed in her owner's bedroom. Rarely ventures out. Very affectionate with her owner, but not so much with anyone else. We are moving cross country in May and don't think she will tolerate the move.

Story
Jennifer and her brother showed up at my house without their mother last September. I had her spayed and her ear is tipped. Her and her brother quickly became friendly. I've had them in my house now for a few weeks and they are the most lovable, cuddly cats I've ever known. Jennifer is a little shy, but she loves to chase the laser light and get pets. They just got tested and are healthy. They got their vaccines and are ready to go to a good home. They are a bonded pair and have been through a lot together, so I would prefer to have them go to a new home together.

These pups are in Queen Creek, Arizona too!

Story
Hi, my name is Macey! I came to the Hadley Home for Wayward Cats sanctuary after my person crossed the rainbow bridge. I am a chill cat who loves people. I enjoy being where you are, receiving pets and affection, and lounging in your lap. I might be shy at first, but I warm up quickly once I get to know you. I like to sit by a window and watch the birds and any other critters that may pass by. Food is the way to my heart, so we will become fast friends when you feed me. I especially like Temptation Treats! I am currently living at the cat sanctuary that is meant for sick and elderly cats. I am looking forward to meeting you and finding my forever home! If you are looking for a cat who would like to be your one and only, I am your gal!

Story
Remi is about 11 years old. We are looking to rehome him. He would thrive in a home where he is the only animal or if there are other cats, they are older and stay to themselves. His name is Remi. We’ve had remi for 10.5 years and love him dearly, but his behavior towards the other 2 cats in the home (age 5-6) is becoming overwhelming. We were blessed and surprised with twins so we have 3 kids under 3 so the stress is already quite high but when we hear him hissing or pawing at the other cats, it is just the straw that is breaking the camel’s back. I want to make sure he goes to a loving home. He loves going outside and comes back, but then we struggle with the germs that he brings back in for our crawling babies. He does great with people and has had no issues with our kids.
