A kind woman on a fixed income found this precious kitty on her doorstep one day.  She would love to keep her but cannot.  She is super affectionate and sweet tempered.  Another stray deserving her own forever home!  Do you have room in your heart and home for this lovely girl? There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $148. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $148 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) Rescued from a trailer park just west of Baldwin Express on Doc McDuffie Road, Ziggy's journey to our sanctuary is nothing short of heroic. When we received a distressing call about the impending threat to shoot the resident cats by a new owner of the property, we knew we had to act swiftly.   Having already TNVR'd the cats in this area, we were familiar with their stories. Ziggy, along with her five siblings, was pulled to safety just before the caretaker had to leave. While her siblings remain skittish, Ziggy stands out with her loving and approachable nature. As part of our sanctuary entourage, she wins over everyone she meets with her friendly greetings.   This cross-eyed beauty is not only a cuddler but also appreciates her own space. Cinnamon was rescued with her kittens who have been adopted. She is shy and quiet, likes to sit on back of the couch if she’s not hiding underneath it ! lol when company comes over she’s no where to be seen. This gorgeous gal needs a true cat hero to adopt her , who will be patient with her insecurity. She likes to be in quiet places but warms up once feels safe.

Sweet, tiny little Myrtle (7#) is around 10 years old and has stomatitis, like most older kitties. She is missing her lower teeth, but she had a recent steroid shot to curb inflammation.  With good quality wet food, and a little TLC, she will prove to be worth it. She is full of love and is very affectionate.  She loves to play with her toy mice. She was rescued from street life, now looking for her forever person, and so deserving.  Leukemia/FIV tested negative. Shots current, microchipped.
