Meet Banjo — a 5-year-old Cairn Terrier mix with a tender heart and lots of personality. Banjo is a sweet, sensitive boy who takes time to trust, but once he feels safe, he bonds deeply with his people. He’s curious, expressive, and loves keeping tabs on the world around him. Banjo is doing great with potty training, does okay in a crate, and is gaining confidence on leash walks and in new situations. He can be shy around other dogs, so slow introductions are important, and he may do best as an only dog or with a calm companion. He’d love a patient, understanding home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore and play. If you’re willing to give him time to settle in, Banjo will reward you with loyalty, love, and plenty of charm.

Story
Bandit is a very loving dog. He is clingy and loves to cuddle. He can sometimes be protective and territorial over his owner. My mom rescued him, but he did not get along with my brother and is why I have him now. He is very leash reactive towards other dogs, on walks if he sees another dog he goes ballistic. He has never bitten a dog but does bark a lot and will try to charge. He is fine with dogs and cats in the home, but due to the leash reactivity I listed not good with cats and dogs. I have watched my friend's dogs and Bandit would get a little protective but was fine with the other dog overall. He needs someone who does not have small children, and a backyard since he cannot go on long walks - and who is also experienced with leash reactivity.
