Story
Meet Cinnamon! Cinnamon is thought to be approximately one year old; however, she acts much older than her age. She's thought to be a Cairn Terrier mix. Cinnamon weighs 8 pounds currently. She came from a fairly bad hoarding situation, but Cinnamon is learning life can be very comfortable ! After birthing and raising her pups, she is done with motherhood and is very ready to focus on herself. Cinnamon isn't the most confident dog, unless she's burrowed with her person taking a nap. She is learning the outdoors isn't a scary place, and learning all the new things indoors! She can be quite nervous, but she's gaining confidence everyday. She would love to be a permanent lap dog and receive endless belly rubs! She does well with dogs of all sizes but also wouldn't mind being an only child. Cinnamon is not leash trained and as such needs to go to a home with a fenced yard. She is mostly pee pad trained. She is also crate trained. She is somewhat food motivated and does well once trust is established. Cinnamon would need an experienced dog owner to help her navigate how to be a dog, and would require someone who has patience to help her adapt. She is a very very sweet dog and would make a wonderful companion! Cinnamon is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She has been fully vetted. She is microchipped. Cinnamon is also heartworm negative and receives monthly heartworm prevention. Cinnamon’s adoption donation is $300. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
