Dixie is a very friendly, playful, affectionate, healthy, energetic, happy dog. She loves people and kids, playing with other dogs. She would make a great dog for anyone except for very young children because she may knock them over, or very old for the same reason. She is a solid 42 pounds. She crates well if needed and is also doing well on house breaking. strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9

Story
Meet Lucky! This precious boy is around a year old. He is 12 lbs, and we believe he is a Cairn Terrier mix. Either way, he is sure to melt your heart This precious boy was wondering the streets with 2 other dogs. They were in a very unsafe area, begging humans for help. We knew we had to do something. One of the pups was microchipped and had an owner, thank God for microchips. The other pup, who we named Chance, sadly didn't make it. We didn't get to them in time. Chance was struck by a car. He became a hit and run victim Lucky was then separated from the others, but he didn't go far. He stuck around near where his friend had been hit. Thank God a woman in a house across the street noticed him and got him to safety. She held him until we could pick him up. We are so grateful for her. We know she saved his life. She named him Lucky and boy does it fit! Lucky is a playful, silly guy with soooo much love to give. He makes you feel Lucky to be near him. He truly is that special. We would like to see Lucky find his pot of gold, if you feel you're on the other side of the rainbow and you could be his, then please apply! This little boy is everything friendly Of course like ALL our babies he is fully vetted! Neutered, vaccinated current on preventions, heartworm negative, microchipped, and he comes with a special geotag. Could you be Lucky in love? Please apply on our website www.TiggerTown.com ##2207477##

Story
Meet Dora: Part explorer, part couch potato!Dora is an approximately 5 year old terrier mix who enjoys running around in the yard - *almost* as much as she enjoys running into your arms and falling asleep. She can go from zoomies to couch-rot in 30 seconds flat, and is therefore looking for a home as well-rounded as she is! Dora enjoys playing with toys and other pups, but don't let her playful demeanor fool you - she's on 24/7 squirrel patrol. Dora is crate-trained, housebroken, good with other dogs, and will sing for her supper (aka, barks at mealtime). Due to her terrier tendency to chase critters, her adopter must have a strongly reinforced, escape proof fenced yard. Dora is not only an Explorer, but a great student who will do well with a family that wants to continue learning and training with her. If you're ready to explore bringing this adventurous couch potato home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application - and choose Dora! Her adoption fee is $300, and AARF's adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like her for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They've been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). They've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and they've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of them have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of them entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
Yogurt is a sweet and happy little guy looking for his forever family.  At about 3 years old and 16 pounds he can fit just about anywhere - apartment, townhouse, or big old home.  He likes to go outside and walk and play and enjoys the company of other dogs.  He also likes to snuggle with his humans and relax after an exciting day out and about. His foster says Yogurt is shy at first but loves to be with the humans and other pets. He is a very quiet guy and doesn't bark that much. His behavior can be very laid back and is free in the house, does not need to be caged or doors closed. He does not chew on any shoes or furniture.  He does not seem that interested in toys but he likes chewie's and a treat. Not food aggressive at all.  At bedtime he sleeps on the couch in the living room or on in the dog bed on my floor of the bedroom. He loves his 3 to 4 walks a day and enjoys playing with other dogs. He would be a great traveling pup very quiet will stay in the seat with no problem. He does great in a new surrounding such as a friend's home or another back yard. He also does not react to loud noises so he would be fine in an apartment. PAW places dogs in the DC/ VA/ MD/ PA area only. ##2207404##
