Story
Hi - My name is Dora the Explorer and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am a Cairn Terrier Mix, but because I am brand new to these parts, there's not much more known about me or my personality just yet. If you check back a little later, I'm sure my foster parents will have a lot more information to post about me. If you have any questions, though, feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org. or if you just think it's love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org and choose me Dora the Explorer! My adoption fee is $300.00. AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). We've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and we've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Courtesy listing Gabriel is from a hoarding situation where the dogs lived inside with an older male gentleman. They are just learning how to walk on a leash and do normal dog things. Gabriel is pretty close to being housebroken but will need some time to adjust to a schedule and figure things out. This is a super cute dog that will make someone the envy of the neighborhood.

Dixie is a very friendly, playful, affectionate, healthy, energetic, happy dog. She loves people and kids, playing with other dogs. She would make a great dog for anyone except for very young children because she may knock them over, or very old for the same reason. She is a solid 42 pounds. She crates well if needed and is also doing well on house breaking. strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9

Story
This guy is so adorable!!! He has the most adorable little scruffy face and an even more beautiful personality! He's super submissive with other dogs and loves to play with them. He's cat friendly and wonderfully gentle with children. He's actually being fostered in a home with two very young little boys. He's super tolerant, gentle. Kennel trained and walks nicely on leash. Loves to explore buts like a teddy bear, very low energy. He's in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , he will travel on Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. They travel each and every weekend to the north east, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning approximately 6 AM, setting up a group chat with all adopters and the two drivers and heading straight north east making stops along the way as far north as west Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this little honky fellow a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. Please refrain from submitting an application until you're ready to welcome your new forever friend. You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive! https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Meet Bucky, a sweet and cuddly 7-year-old Cairn Terrier mix! Weighing just 9 pounds, this mellow and gentle soul is the epitome of a lap dog. His friendly nature makes him a joy to be around, and he's always ready for a snuggle session. However, because of his small size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. Bucky's long golden-white coat is as soft as his heart and to keep it that way, he'll need to be groomed every few weeks. He's the kind of dog who would love to spend his days lounging by your side, offering you his unwavering companionship. Adopt Bucky and let his gentle, loving nature bring warmth and happiness into your home. (ME, 8/26/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.September 17, 2024, 1:23 am
