Story
This guy is so adorable!!! He has the most adorable little scruffy face and an even more beautiful personality! He's super submissive with other dogs and loves to play with them. He's cat friendly and wonderfully gentle with children. He's actually being fostered in a home with two very young little boys. He's super tolerant, gentle. Kennel trained and walks nicely on leash. Loves to explore buts like a teddy bear, very low energy. He's in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , he will travel on Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. They travel each and every weekend to the north east, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning approximately 6 AM, setting up a group chat with all adopters and the two drivers and heading straight north east making stops along the way as far north as west Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this little honky fellow a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. Please refrain from submitting an application until you're ready to welcome your new forever friend. You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive! https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
This boy would thrive best with an experienced owner in a calm home. He needs plenty of confidence boosting and patience to help him come out of his shell. Due to his timid nature, he should be in a household without young children. With the right environment and care, he has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion.

Story
This adorably handsome guy is Lil Bit. Lil Bit is a 7 year old Cairn Terrier Mix, who weighs 15 pounds. He thrives at National Mill Dog Rescue, joyfully playing outdoors and honing his socialization skills with his dog companions. His deepest longing is a loving forever home, where he can relish companionship and the blissful comfort of a couch life filled with endless love and warmth. Lil Bit's new home needs to be a home without cats.****Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. Because some of our dogs are very under socialized, they may not be a good fit for young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
