Story
This is Charley who is a year old, and 12 lbs of happy energy and fun. He is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He’s also very smart (more on that in a minute) and ridiculously cute! Charley walks well on leash, rides well in the car, and is very sweet, loving, and healthy. He’s a bit standoffish and hand-shy at first, but once he gets to know you and trust you, he is a cuddly, loving, and affectionate dog. He’s also housetrained – he quickly learned how to use the dog door in his foster home and goes right over to his potty area. Another plus is his wirey coat which is low maintenance for grooming. He's very curious and likes to explore absolutely everything; sometimes I think he’s a cat – he’ll jump up on the back of the couch so he can see all around. He also figured out how to jump onto his crate, and then spring onto other things (I told you he was smart!). Charley’s still a pup and will obviously need some training in household manners. But he’s very food-motivated so training should be easy. One thing you should know is that Charley has had Parvo. He got really sick, but his will to live was stronger than the virus and thankfully he got better. He is totally recovered, and now has natural immunity. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Charley, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Story
If you have a dog-shaped hole in your heart, consider filling it with Hendrix. This very sweet, handsome scruff-muppet is a bit shy and unsure of what's going on right now. Change can be so confusing! But sweet Hendrix can't wait to come out of his shell and cozy up in your gentle, loving arms forever and ever. Here's some notes from his foster: Hendrix is extremely comfortable around other dogs. He has a good appetite and loves to go on walks – in fact he is very physically agile – and is potty trained. He has been very quiet and seems to like his crate. His favorite food in the whole world? Pork!

Story
Baby Gorgeous, a long-limbed terrier mix with a future in modeling, is definitely gorgeous. At 10 years old she isn't exactly a baby, but her downy scruff, untamed topknot and wide-eyed innocence all add up to a strong puppy vibe. She mixes well with doggos of all ages and gentle humans ready to wait a beat before sweeping her into their arms. Not a big deal if you consider the reward. When this love crumpet gets comfy, she's a snuggly companion loyal and true. Visit with an open heart and she'll nest there, a true friend and willing accomplice for future adventures. Here some notes from her fosters: Baby Gorgeous is doing great. She is now reliably going potty outside at the dog park (she likes the "grass" fake but with the good smells to indicate that that is where all the other dogs are peeing). She is eating well. Initially she was a little skittish, but she is still getting used to walking on leash, and interacting with other easy going dogs. I think she would prefer a quiet neighborhood to live in.
