Benny is a 1 year old terrier mix with lots of puppy love and energy. He was abandoned, severely underweight, and lived completely outdoors for a long time. He is up to date on vaccines/flea treatment and has been neutered. He is very playful and great with kids and other dogs! He is very sweet and smart, and would greatly benefit from a training class. He is crate trained and house broken. He enjoys toys and snuggles.

Meet Fieri! Fieri entered Orange County Animal Care as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on October 20 to become a Frosted Face. Fieri is about 10 years old and weighs 12 lbs. He is a very sweet boy who likes sitting on laps and being petted. He also enjoys going for walks and has pep in his step! Fieri went on a special outing with volunteers and two other Frosted Faces (Falafel and O'Hare) to a local restaurant and park. Afterwards, we received this rave review: "Fieri is so much FUN!!! * He loves to play! I bet he loves toys but I didn't have any with me. He also wanted the other dogs to play with him, and one trotted along with Fieri in his own way of playing. * He has young dog energy. I have a hunch he is younger than the 10 years the shelter guessed. * He loves people and is not shy. He is such a happy friendly dog. He wants to be everyone's friend and will give kisses and sit on your lap for pets. * He also loves Falafel and thinks they are besties. Falafel is so patient with him and goes along with it. * He is a great walker and only pulled when he wanted to keep going, and I had stopped. * He LOVES snacks, doesn't matter what, he wants it all! * He is so good in the car!! When she wasn't claimed, the shelter reached out with a rescue request, and we scooped her up on November 12th to become a Frosted Face. Mezzi is about 12 years old, weighs 12 lbs., and looks so much better after a much-needed grooming. We hope she feels more comfortable, too! Mezzi is at the top of our list of dogs who are not thriving in the environment at FFF. Why? Because she struggles with CCD (canine cognitive dysfunction) and needs a quiet, safe home environment to rest comfortably and walk around as she needs.
