Story
8 year old female. Mochi gets along well with Juicy Juice, the cat she was brought in with, but doesn’t seem to enjoy other cats or dogs. She tends to like things a little more quiet but she is very sweet. Mochi seems to enjoy Juicy Juice to boost her confidence because she is shy, but she also may do well in a home alone. These cats are not required to be adopted together. Mochi has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $6.

These pups are in Ashland, Ohio too!

Story
This cat was laying at my door when I moved into my apartment 2 yrs ago, with a bloody stub of a tail! She wanted to be friendly but swatted and scratched me when I tried to pet her. She continued to hang around and would great me when I came home from work, still wanting to be affectionate. I quick pet and immediate swat! This has gone on for 2 yrs now. My family even purchased a insulated cat house for her because they didn’t want any thing to happen to her. I have feed her twice a day as I do my own cats. She comes in, rubs against my legs now, allows and wants me to pet her, and I do. My cats do not accept her. She can’t stay with me and my leasing company will charge me $50 per month plus $500 deposit to keep her. I’m on a fixed income. My heart breaks for her. She is finally coming out of her shell and gives body signals before she swats. I wish I could keep her, but I can’t afford her. So very sorry. A lady with a loving heart and gentle voice and touch would be a gift to her
