Story
Mochi gets along well with Juicy Juice, the cat she was brought in with, but doesn’t seem to enjoy other cats or dogs. She tends to like things a little more quiet but she is very sweet. Mochi seems to enjoy Juicy Juice to boost her confidence because she is shy, but she also may do well in a home alone. These cats are not required to be adopted together. Mochi has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $6.

Story
Beverly would be best suited in a low stress environment without small kids or high energy dogs. I hope she finds a peaceful place to call home where she can continue her life and be loved like she deserves, we have too many animals and small children for her comfort level. Happy to set a time for those that are interested to come visit her and see what a lovely cat she is.

Story
TinyCat came from a situation of neglect. She is very small naturally, but was also very sick. She will never be the size of a “normal” cat. I’ve been told she is a Russian blue from the surrender, and vet suspects it as accurate, but a DNA test could be fun! She HAS to be the only pet. She hates dogs, and will attack them. I imagine she has bad history. She lived with another cat, but vet records indicate she had been in a catfight. I wouldn’t risk it. Recently spayed, now healthy, and doing fabulous! She wants a lap! She WILL defend her boundaries after a warning. I would recommend older children, only. She is a human-lover, very sweet and great company for sedentary activities! She is a slower adjuster. She is grumpy when she is stressed, and isn’t afraid to swat/bite if she sees something as a threat. She is worth the patience she deserves. Seeing her fully trust and choose you, is an amazing reward. She will only go to a FOREVER, STABLE home. She’s been through enough.

Jinx is very good cat, however, I'm not home enough due to my job that demands longer hours and farther travel. Since I'm not home enough now, I guess she gets kind of mad at me lol. I got her as a rescue off a farm in August of 2020 as a kitten. She is good with anyone with a friendly approach. She has a male companion but sometimes want a little space lol. She is very playful. She loves stringy toys and green laser pointers. Im also up for very possible jobs with relocation out of state, which makes this harder.
