Meet Mystery! The mystery is believed to be a 2-3-year-old Russian Blue mix. What a sweet shy boy. Just lacks confidence in every way. But given the time and space, he's the best! He can be hand-shy at first with humans but comes around eventually. He is her affectionate playful nurturing cat. The mystery was a stray cat in the neighborhood that a little 4-year-old girl fed and loved since kitten. She fed all the kitties daily on her front lawn. One day Mystery showed up with a fractured leg. The neighbor's dog had gotten him. It took 2 months to trap him, but he made it. By the time we could trap him his leg healed wrong. The only option was amputation. We decided not to proceed with it unless he showed an inability to use it or appeared in pain. We have not witnessed either. So he heated his leg. Here we are 18 months later and he's doing great. His best buddy here is Ace. They tend to stick together and lean on one another. They are not bonded at all just best buddies. Mystery cannot be an only pet. He needs a buddy. Whatever species as long as it's friendly and allows Mystery to lean on them for support, comfort, and loving. Meet Percy. He's a young adult with medium-length fur. He is a Big fella now. I love to spoil the kitties. What can I say? March 17th he was trapped. Weeks prior Percy and another kitty were spotted with injuries that required medical attention. Took a volunteer week and only Percy was trapped and immediately saw the vet He's been at the sanctuary healing. With daily care needed he finally learned to accept us humans. He was a feisty grossly fella but the trick is wet food 2x a day with petting and patience. He was neutered a week ago and today he is ready for his happy forever to find him. Percy is FIV positive, also has a heart murmur, and due to his lack of ability /street wisdom he cannot be released back outside. He needs a family that will shower him with love, attention, playtime, toys and quality care indoors living only. A responsible pet-owning home. Did I mention how much he loves warm wet food?!
