Story
Find us “Furry Nation Salvation” on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Located in: Port Orange, FL 386-295-2755 (***please read this before calling-thank you*** ). Meet Spitz ! She is a Russian blue female kitten and is 9-10 weeks old. She is part of the Hurricane Milton Survivors and rescued just after hurricane milton. She has her first distemper vaccine, revolution on for fleas, and dewormed for internal parasites. Her adoption fee includes her neuter/spay, remaining vaccines, and microchipping (with free registration). PERSONALITY: She is a very social kitten and loves to play. She is also very easy to hold. I have a very active home with kids and other pets and she would do well in any home. They are using cat box well and eating lots of wet food. Friskies pate wet food Twice daily (no dry has been given). READ at the very bottom to learn why it is actually vital for cats to get wet food daily (and why limiting the crappy dry food is key). LESS VET BILLS for You & longer life for kitty! VETTING: She is not big enough to be fixed but his/her future spay/neuter, Rabies, distemper Vaccines and microchip is ALL INCLUDED in his/her adoption fee. They also have flea prevention on too and have been dewormed. Also with first kitten vaccine. We get them back around 4-5 months of age for spay/neuter/vaccinations & can make it work for anyone’s work schedule.. Want to use your own vet? We do have other options we can discuss when you call. * We are Located in Port Orange, FL 386-295-2755 **How our process works and Application is here: FurryNationSalvation.org/adoptionprocess (copy and paste into your browser) Or text us for a direct “adoption process” link 386-295-2755 ***Find us on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram!*** -If you want to adopt : 1) please show up with cat carrier. 2) We give you copies of all forms. 3) we take photo of you and newly adopted pet. 4) we go over pet education packet as we do with anyone who adopts from us so you have a successful adoption. 5) adoption fee $200, which includes future neuter/spay, rabies, distemper and microchipping. Kitten has flea prevention on now, dewormed, and first distemper vaccine. The fee is a little higher to help with our current vet bills as we are volunteer run. (Yes can fix on own if don’t want to drive back and can discuss further) 6) We take any kitty back if it isn’t working out . But all kittens need time to adjust Furry Nation Salvation Port Orange, FL furrynationsalvation@hotmail.com 386-295-2755 (More on wet food) Pease remember; our cats have a low thirst drive and NEED the moisture in the wet food. Since wet food is 75% moisture and dry food only 10%, that is huge for our felines. Cats need wet food daily to avoid a lot of dehydration related medical problems long term like urinary tract issues which can lead to litter box ovoidance and kidney disease or obesity issues linked to diabetes.. ****How much?**** At least one (3oz. can a day but 2 cans recommended) or 1/2 of a 5oz. Can of Friskies pate wet food a day (although one full can, half in morning and other half at night, is recommended ).
