Whiskey was found as a kitten on the highway by my fiance and he's about one years old. He is a lover but he would prefer to just go do his own thing and stay to himself.

Story
Pele (pronounced Pay Lay, bears the nickname of a great soccer player because she loves to bat balls around with either paw, chase them down and strike them again. She is part of a litter born in early October in our courtyard to a mom who was feral when we started feeding her several months ago. The mom eventually moved her kittens to our back porch where we made sure they had comfortable and secure accommodations. All of them were sterilized in early January, and when snow and cold weather hit, we moved them all indoors. The mom stayed only long enough to be judged healed. The kittens, on the other hand, adapted quickly and well to inside living and now don't want to go outside, at least for any length of time. In addition to her "soccer," Pele does not as readily participate in sibling play, often retreating when play gets a little rough. Once she trusts you, she wants your attention at any time. She loves toys and treats and sleeping on her owners' easy chairs.

Story
Tika is an indoor/outdoor feline who will add a warm presence to your life. A beautiful tortoise shell, she's content to hang out in the yard or shelter, take a nap, or be inside close to you. At night, she'll cuddle up by your side, or sleep in her cat bed. She has a lovely purr, good manners, and is a talented huntress of rodents. Tika is perfectly imperfect - she isn't a lap cat, her 'litter box' is the outdoors, and some days a sweetpea, other days more of a tortie with a 'tude'. The best fit is a calm, stable home with a large yard or rural setting, with 1 - 2 people who will look after her and love her. For her safety until she adjusts to her new life, a temporary/permanent patio enclosure is ideal. No other cats, or dogs at least to start with. Farm animals are fine. Tika is the sole survivor of her family, and has become accustomed (mostly) to the domesticated life. Her foster mom is unable to care for her for the long term. This sweet gal needs her forever home!
