Hello, Moppet and I met 3 years ago as a foster. Eventually, I adopted; but keeping him/providing a stable home has been a challenge for me. All of his medical and dental needs have been addressed; he’s a healthy boy of about 10 years old. Moppet sleeps a lot and would do well in a household that isn’t too active; but still gives him enthusiastic walks and daily playtime. With professional training, he could be fine with other dogs; I simply don’t have the resources for that. This is a brutally difficult situation for us and I’ll miss him terribly; but it’s important he be given the best home possible. The adoption fee will include his dog bed, food, medication and everything else you need for the first 4-6 weeks. He has some dietary issues, but nothing major. Also, he sleeps with his humans and needs a home with non-smokers. If you smoke, or vape, moppet is not for you. Kids over 7 are ok. This has become time sensitive. For the perfect home, I’m willing to waive the adoption fee.

Welcome Hans to CCPAL foster program. Hans is a 1 year old English Mastiff pure bred dog. She weighs 70 pounds and should weigh up to 100 or so full grown. We do not have papers. We are a rescue and only help find homes for Rescue dogs needing great placements. Hans is good in a crate and good with other dogs. She is around other dogs all her size or bigger. She has all the lovely qualities of the Mastiff. She is loyal and once when the gate was open she stayed inside the yard and warned the owners that some of her group were out of the yard. She is less vocal and has an adorable wrinkly face. She understands Spanish and English commands as she has people around her that know both languages. She has been around lots of people including teens and does great. She got her second vaccination today and will be spayed soon with the CCPAL rescue. She is currently in Texas in foster care. She is lower on the shed scale, good in a crate and decent on a leash. She goes potty outside and like all mastiffs she drools when she is ready to eat or you are about to feed her. This breed is naturally a protective dog and would be best with someone that knows and loves this breed. She is a beautiful khaki and black coloration. She has big webbed feet and should be a good swimmer. Right now she is not near water so we don’t know if she likes water to swim. When you get a puppy it is best you have some free time to train and spend time with her. It will make for a better adult dog. She is in Texas now and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 600 due to her high spay cost and transport will be $200 if we use the transporter. . FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Orion! He is 7-year-old Bullmastiff/Boerboel mix who weighs 118 lbs. He came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA and is looking for his forever home! His perfect home would have a chill, steady, and peaceful environment. Orion walks well on a leash but can be strong and will need a family with good dog-handling skills. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a regular routine. Breed experience is required for his adopter. This big guy is looking for a quieter forever home outside of city-life. He will need a single-family detached home in a suburban or rural neighborhood. He would LOVE a large, securely fenced yard as well to roam and be with his people. In the summertime he would enjoy laying around in the sun! He can be dog selective and has shown to be friendly with submissive females but would do best as an only dog soaking up all the attention! Orion will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His fee is $500.

He loves going for car rides, adores cats, dogs and kids of all ages and really just wants to love everyone he meets. He is a big boy and needs to go to a home with prior experience with large breeds. He would do best in a home with multiple people and other pets, he has lived with other animals his whole life and does not do well by himself.

Hi, I'm Pippa,I sure hope you are looking for a great young dog to make your home complete. If that is so, then stop looking, you found her. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people but all I need is a bit of attention to build my confidence and I will shine. I don't live with children but I have been around them and I know to just stay calm and relax. I like dogs in my pack and I will play but I would prefer to chill out and relax. I am what you might call laid-back!When my foster family takes me out for a walk I stick pretty close to them because there are a lot of street dogs and they scare me a bit. It is much better when I walk with my pack. I don't have many toys but give me a nice marrow bone and I will be busy all day! Cats are not my thing, unless they like to be chased then I am all in.Oh did I mention that I love to swim? It is the best thing when we go to the beach and I get to play in the water. I'm in heaven then. The car ride there makes me a bit nervous so I don't look out the window or anything. I just wait until we are at the beach then I am fine.I am pretty good with my basic commands like Sit, Come and of course, come eat! I know I still have lots to learn but I hope my new family will be ready to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. MEET GOLDIE, a beautiful & young Mastiff in need of a foster or forever home! Goldie is a 1-year-old girl and is still a big puppy! She already weighs 90 pounds, and will likely put on weight as she grows up. She was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. Goldie is a sweet, gentle dog. She is slightly shy, especially with men, but very affectionate once she gets to know you. She gives big kisses! We do not know too much yet about how she is with other dogs, because she caught a doggy cough at the shelter so has been in isolation. But given her gentleness, we are expecting she will be good with other dogs, and we will test her soon. She would do well with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids.
