Hi there. My name is Heath. I was found deep in the woods with my mate by a very nice lady. We were both very emaciated and just plain tired. It is obvious that our owners no longer found us useful to breed anymore. How can people be so cruel??? Lucies was contacted and it was close to impossible to get us in due to our size and condition. Thankfully the volunteers were able to coax us in get us taken to the vet. We both had to take medicated baths daily, as skin scrapes showed some nasty stuff. Here we are now though, all happy and healthy and wanting a loving home. We are gentle giants and love and crave affection and attention. *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Hi there. My name is Heidi. I was found deep in the woods with my mate by a very nice lady. We were both very emaciated and just plain tired. I was worse though, as I had a large gaping hole in my throat which we assume was a massive abscess that had burst. That required antibiotics and hydrotherapy sessions 2 - 3 times a day. Here we are now though, all happy and healthy and wanting a loving home. We are gentle giants and love and crave affection and attention. *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Hello, meet Simba! He’s a super sweet brown/black XXL pitbull/mastiff. He is 4 years old. Loves to go on walks, chew on chew toys, but overall just loves to lounge around the house. He’s a super lazy/loving pooch. Not aggresive what so ever. As much as it breaks our hearts, we just can’t continue taking care of him. We would love to find a new loving home for him. He gets along with other dogs. Big or small. Loves kids. Just overall the perfect dog! He is fixed. Trying our best to avoid shelters!! There will be a small re-homimg fee. Thank you!

Oh sweet Brutus, the big gentle giant. We know the phrase "big teddy bear" is used a lot when describing big dogs, but we're serious when we tell you that Brutus is just the biggest, loving goobernut ever. Brutus wants for nothing. So long as he has a dedicated couch (or dog bed) and his meals fed on time (lol), Brutus is happy. He is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs (including tiny dogs) and is doing incredibly well. In his past life, Brutus was a beloved companion for an elderly couple, whose grandchildren visited often. When one of his owners passed away, the family decided to rehome Brutus so they could focus on caring for his remaining owner, peacefully knowing that Brutus was being loved and cared for by his second forever family - which we are determined to find. Brutus is technically considered a senior (he is 9 years old), but has been well maintained throughout his life and likely has many more years left on his gears! We truly cannot say enough about this amazing guy. He is sweet, gentle, healthy, loving, social and just wants to be loved!
