Story
Despite the old saying, sometimes good things do come in BIG packages! That’s certainly the case with Method Man, as this gorgeous guy tops the scale at 112 lbs. If you’d prefer to play in the yard, MM would be happy to oblige, as he’s a pretty laid back guy. But as long as you let him carry a stick, he’ll trot by your side when you go for walks. (Perhaps he thinks the stick is a cool accessory, meant to impress other dogs?) When it’s hot outside, Method loves nothing better than a nice nap on a cool floor, but he prefers to snuggle with a blanket when the weather turns cold. This adorably wrinkled guy is very smart and already knows his commands, and his motto should be ”will work for hot dogs!” Since his owner had to surrender him due to housing issues, Method Man has been very anxious to find his forever home. He prefers to share a home with just his human companions, and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. MM loves playing with stuffed toys, and will entertain his new family with an occasional case of the zoomies. If you decide to share your life and your home with this lovely pup, you’ll be rewarded with loving looks from his very soulful eyes. Adoption by appointment only withan approved application. Story
This boy was surrendered when the owners could not take care of him. His mom was a Bullmastiff and they had no idea who the dad is. If you like water this is your boy!! He loves kiddie pools and chasing water from a hose. Being soaked is his thing. He loves to play and gets along with other dogs. He will need all the basic puppy training and patience that comes along with it. He is a sweet boy who is always happy to greet anyone coming to say "Hi". He's just a wonderful boy that is looking for a new family to be with forever. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Hercules is looking for someone to be their hero.  This 3 year old 170 pound Bull Mastiff is massive and definitely the size of a small pony.  He is a lazy, affectionate big OOF that needs someone bigger and stronger than him to make him their sidekick in life. Hercules needs to be introduced slowly to other dogs. He has never been socialized with other dogs and deserves that chance. For years Hercules had lived with his sister until his owner could no longer care for him or the sister. He and his sister would drop off at the owners parents and told I don't know that he's good with other dogs even though he never tried him. The sister was easily adopted but alas Hercules was labeled with no real testing. Critter Calvary in trying to help this boy find a new home has stepped up and gotten a trainer to go over there and he said all Hercules wanted to do was excitedly meet the other dog and play. He's goofy and he's a little clumsy and he needs some training. He's not great on a leash but he's not terrible. Hercules needs a chance in life and not to be assumed that he's bad in any way because his heart is golden. His efforts will be a little clumsy but someone give this boy a chance to be inside the house and loved and going for walks and being given the trust that his heart is a good one. And an accepting one. We will require that others to adopt him will take him to training and getting polished into the smooth and gentle giant that he is.  Please someone give Hercules a chance to be loved and not parked in a fenced backyard.   He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not destructive in the house.  This boy will make you laugh, make you want to protect him (even though he is big) and he will love you unconditionally and who in the world would ever break in to your home!?  Goodness they would be insane.   This boy loves people though….but if you don’t know him then he could be a nice guardian.   A fenced yard would be the perfect environment for everyone.  If you qualify, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 2, 2024, 10:11 pm
