Story
Leia is just about 2 years old. She is full of energy and sometimes isn’t sure where to put it. She needs a fenced in yard, walks and mind building exercises. Recently she has not been getting along with our other dog which leads us to this decision. Leia would do best in a home as a solo dog at this point, or one who is not dominant . She does well with cats and is very gentle with children. Leia is very timid initially and can appear aggressive at first encounter. This is fear based until she feels safe. Once she warms up she is the biggest lover and enjoys giving kisses. She is very protective of her people. Leia is highly trainable abd extremely food motivated. She is so smart. Leia will need a very patient caregiver who is experienced in difficult fear aggressive, anxious dogs. She gets nervous going potty outside and needs to be reminded frequently. With positive reinforcement you can tell she is so proud when she potties outside. Can you give her the time and patience she needs?
