Story
Jaco is a jack of all kinds of fun! This sweet giant is eager to make friends and play with you. Jaco has been through a board and train program and knows all of his basic commands in addition to being well-mannered. Check out Jaco's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwnRYoSTeoXcytp3-5noWEGT Jaco was found wandering at a Jack in the Box on a rural highway in Central California. After surviving that ordeal, he lingered at a high-kill shelter for too long and was almost euthanized. A generous sponsor was able to place Jaco with a trainer for three months to give him more time to find a foster, and while he was waiting for a foster he learned all the cool stuff! Jaco has done great in training and play groups with other dogs. He also has done well with horses and pigs. He does not have much experience with cats, however we suspect this gentle giant would be fine with them with some training. Jaco is a XL breed puppy who would do best in a home experienced with XL dogs. He has done great in training, but continued leash work is needed. Jaco knows sit, down, time for bed, and NO among other cues. He is a big lovebug who is eager to please and learn new tricks. He loves kongs, rope toys, and tennis balls most of all for toys. Jaco is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Jaco to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.

Story
Coco is a beautiful 2-year-old Bull Mastiff weighing a solid 81 pounds. She has a good nature and loving personality, so she will be a wonderful companion in the perfect forever home. This sweet girl has a playful side that shines when its time for walks or playtime in the yard. She adores spending time with her humans, receiving belly rubs or simply relaxing together. She was originally a stray, so we don't know how she behaves around kids, other dogs, or even cats, so any kids in the home or resident dogs would need to come out for the meet-and-greet. She can be very strong on leash as well, so her handler would need to be ready for any pulling that she might exhibit. If youre looking for a big-hearted companion who will fill your life with joy and laughter, Coco could be the perfect match for you! She has been vaccinated and microchipped and will be spayed on 1/2. $350.00 adoption helps with some of those costs. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Cinnamon is a beautiful, two year-old mastiff/Corso rescued from euthanasia from the Merced County animal shelter. True to the breed she is a sensitive girl, and needs time and patience. Cinnamon is extremely affectionate and loving and has done well with other dogs. She would thrive in a home with a breed experience Person who is willing to continue her basic obedience needs. She is still working on her leash training and building her confidence. She is playful and bouncy and loves to chase the ball and throw toys around to herself. Her little nub tail wags a million miles a minute and it’s the cutest thing. Her beautiful and unique fawn blue markings and golden eyes are truly show stopping, and she will make a wonderful companion in the right home .

Story
**Teddy needs a foster or adopter asap! He is being impacted by a divorce that is not his fault. Transport is available to anywhere in the continental US for serious adopters** Teddy is a very special boy who needs a very special adopter. Teddy spent a significant amount of his life as a stray dog and he takes a long time to build trust in new humans. Once he trusts you, he is a total love bug. While building trust, he prefers to watch from a distance. Teddy is very smart and wants to be part of a family. He loves to run the perimeter of his foster yard and enjoys being both inside and outside. Over the last few months, he has built enough trust with his foster that he now likes to sleep beside or on her bed. Teddy loves to play in water and has a fun game of dumping water bowls and buckets whenever the mood suits him. Teddy currently lives with several dogs (both large and small) as well as cats. He does very well with other animals and is very careful to be gentle with his 6 pound Chihuahua friend and kitty friends. He also gets along great with his 110 pound husky foster brother. Teddy loves long walks or hikes, playing with other dogs and getting brushed. He is still working on feeling comfortable on the leash, but has made some good improvements while in foster care. He is mild-mannered and loves to settle down to chew on a crinkly toy, bone, or antler. Teddy is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Teddy to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.

Story
Roman is a big old baby who needs all the love, scratches and play time that you can give him! Roman loves to run and do zoomies all over the yard but does need to be supervised as he does still have puppy behavior and does destroy things. His favorite games are fetch, tug of war and keep away. Once he has burned off his high puppy energy, Roman is happy to lay down on the couch for a nice nap. Check out Roman's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwnQL5npA-5fzZSd7ETv_L-1 Roman knows to sit and wait for permission before eating out of his food bowl. Roman knows his basic commands such as sit and stay, but due to his large size additional obedience training is recommended to help Roman to not knock over his loved ones. Roman was initially in doggy playgroups at the shelter, but given the traumatic experience will need slow introductions to new dogs to be successful. Roman is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. If you would like to meet Roman to see if he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Upon receipt of your application, one of our passionate volunteers will call you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet.
