Meet Appa! This sweet, gentle giant is ready for her forever home! She is a mellow lady, who is great with people of all ages. She'd make a great family dog, and is happy to be involved in whatever you're up to, just laying next to you while you are working, watching TV, reading and more. She would love a home with a yard to lay in the sun and sun bathe for hours!

Story
Bongo is a 6 year-old Bullmastiff-dominant mix with a gentle, sweet character and a lot of love to give. We agreed to foster him for just one month last October, but the original owner has abandoned the agreement and we are unable to keep him ourselves. A heartbreaking position for us and Bongo to be in! He is a larger dog, very medium-to-lower energy but really enjoys long walks, going to the dog park to play catch, and chewing on his favorite parmesan dog bone. He likes to be close to his person and is a very loyal companion. He does not have any issues with excessive barking, but can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for long periods of time. Bongo does well with other dogs, LOVES people, but cats and children make him very nervous so it's best he is either part of a family with older kids or just adults. In our time with him, he's never had behavioral or destructive issues in our home (or any history thereof.) He is a wonderful dog deserving of a forever home.
