At 6 years old and a whopping 105 pounds, Burrito is a big, sweet, cuddly boy with a calm energy that makes him a perfect companion for anyone who’s ready to handle his size. Despite his large frame, Burrito is gentle and affectionate, and he absolutely loves cuddles and attention. Burrito came in as a stray and is still learning the ropes of doggy life, but he’s made great strides in the shelter. He can be a bit excited when it’s time for a walk and sometimes pulls hard on the leash, but he’s learning to manage his enthusiasm. He’s also a big fan of treats—he’ll sit politely for them, but don’t be surprised if he jumps up for a quick kiss or two (he’s got a lot of love to give)! Burrito’s ideal home would be with an adopter who has experience handling larger dogs and can help him continue to learn and thrive. He's recommended for adoption as a solo dog, or perhaps with another dog who is a good match. If you’re looking for a lovable giant to share your life with, Burrito could be your loving companion! Once he feels comfortable, he’s affectionate, trusting, and ready to shower you with love. Peanut loves his treats (and takes them oh-so-gently), enjoys a relaxing bath, and walks like a dream on a leash—he’s strong but doesn’t pull, making walks a breeze. His favorite moments? Resting his big squishy head on your lap or leaning in for some scritches. He’s a great companion, always looking to be close to his people, and will follow you around for a little extra attention. Peanut’s ideal home would either be with another calm, social dog or as the only dog, where he can feel secure and settled. He’s relaxed and gentle with other dogs, and he’ll make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a low-key, loving companion.
