Story
Benji is a 1-year-old Bull Terrier mix with a heart of gold and a passion for cozy naps and outdoor adventures! He's the best life companion, making him the perfect dog for families that love to play and go outdoors. He likes belly scratches, butt scratches, long walks, and other dogs (sometimes a little too much). He loves to play all day since he has a ton of energy, all types of food, he loves people, and being out in the sun. He does not like cones but he can tolerate them, celery, and water in most forms - showers, pools, beaches. He doesn't like being ignored too long, and has a tad bit of separation anxiety at times. Benny would thrive in a home where he can get lots of love and attention but some time for him to sleep as well. He loves a bit of adventure and plenty of time to relax by your side. If you're looking for a loyal, loving buddy who's happy to explore by day and cuddle by night, he is right dog for you!

It’s always a good idea to plan to keep your dog on a joint supplement for life. *********************************************************************** Visit our website for an application to adopt. https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey What breed am I? Mixed mutt! ODHS does not breed label (unless there's official paperwork), as studies show it is nearly impossible to tell the exact breed of each dog based off of their appearance.
