Story
Ruger is a two year old pitbull who I have been fostering for my brother and nephew since their home was lost in a house fire. I recently had him neutered because he broke from his leash and roamed to a neighbors house where the dog was in heat. Even after being neutered, his urge to run to the neighbors house has not faded. This becomes a problem because we have to take the dog out to relieve himself. Due to the trauma of being moved from his home and living in a new area where he has less freedom of movement, he is relieving himself in the house (not good). He would need to be retrained if kept in-house. Ruger was recently described by the vet as being a sweet boy who just wants to make friends with all the other dogs. He's up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchiped. The vet did say they found traces of lime disease exposure in his blood, but no symptoms. Ruger needs training. He's never been trained.
