Story
Description Roo is a young white and tan female bull terrier mix with a medium build. She is well socialized and gets along great with everyone. Personality Roo is a very loving dog that gets along great with her foster home’s other 3 larger dogs. She loves to cuddle. She is full of energy and loves to run. She is doing fantastic with behavior, is crate trained, house trained and does well on leash. She is learning to fetch and will sit on command. A smart, cuddly, happy girl. Background Roo was found in September near Louetta Rd and Forrest Lodge Dr in north west Houston (Heatherwood Village Entrance). She willingly and happily got into her finder’s car. She was not chipped and had no collar when found. Has been fostered by her finder for many months as they attempted to locate a possible owner. She was listed on multiple lost /found pet social media pages and websites, but there were no responses. She was in good shape and overweight when found. She is losing weight being active with her other dog playmates. If you are looking forward to meeting me please contact my shelter gnarhouston@gmail.com.

Story
We have a lovely, sweet, happy girl from our 2022 litter that has come back to us after her owner suddenly passed in June. Ellie comes from our own home bred litter with fully health tested parents. She is spayed so she is looking for a home with plenty of fun, activity and couch loving time! Ellie grew up with a Great Pyrenees/lab cross and a chihuahua, but will need slow introductions to other dogs. She has begun to settle in our house, and has done well with her big brother Perrin. She loves chewing and playing with toys, and we would love to see her in a home that is looking for a jogger/hiker/walker looking for a buddy to hit the road with. She is a petite girl at 46lbs, but she makes up for that in personality. We have started on some obedience and confidence boosting training and she aims to please. No small furries and we have not had an opportunity to test her around young children.

Story
I recently rescued this beautiful dog from a kill shelter, and have housed her for nearly 2 months now. I rescued her an hour before they were scheduled to euthanize her. I live in a small apartment in the Creekside / Woodlands / Tomball area and simply cannot keep this sweet baby any longer due to my travel schedule and commitments in Houston. She is a 55-pound, 18-month old Pitbull Terrier (maybe some Labrador in there too) and is completely up to date on all vaccinations including canine influenza. She is spayed, leash trained, very obedient, and sleeps well. She has no health problems and would be a tremendous addition to a family that has a lot more space and capacity than I do. I live alone and can’t fully speak to how she is with kids or other dogs / cats, but I walk her 4x a day at the same time as many other dogs are being walked and she minds her own business. As she is a rescue dog there is some separation anxiety there, which I’m confident could be trained.
