Story
I have the most beautiful blue eyes!! And that one ear that sticks up!! I am just so very special. I was adopted by someone and after 3 months they decided that they worked too much so I came back to teh rescue. My rescue humans were so disappointed that I had to come back but that just means my perfect family is out there still. Waiting for a girl like me. I am fun and playful and just love life. My perfect place would have another dog to play with and even a cat. I love kids too! I am so pretty but don't love car rides or the vet as much as others might. That's ok, tho, because I have soooo many other amazing qualities that you're sure to look over that one :) Please adopt me. My birthday is 1-29-24 I am 8 months old now and the last remaining puppy of my mommys litter to need an adoptive home. I sure hope you see me and think I'm BEAUTIFUL!!

Story
I was saved from a shelter by my current family when I was 3 months old. Now, I'm almost 3 years old. Laka is my name, it's the Hawaiian word for "gentle". I love being with my family and protecting our home. I play with my human brothers everyday. I'm potty trained. I ring a bell on the door when I need to go outside. I sleep in my bed which is on the floor or my current parents' room. I do not jump on beds or furniture. I do not take food out of my human brothers' hands. My current family is moving overseas soon. The journey would be too difficult for me, so I'm looking for a new family now. I love kids. I used to love playing with other dogs until one bit me. Now I'm afraid of other dogs at the moment. Would prefer hikes over the beach. Enjoys baths but does not enjoy swimming. Likes chew toys that are indestructible. Currently dad works from home, so she likes to stay in bed at his feet all day. Also likes to patrol the yard endlessly. She only met a cat once and was curious about and confused by it. Likes to play fetch and tag with her human brothers. If you lay on the floor with her, she will be in snuggle heaven. Laka is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Story
Peppa is energetic and will need to be placed with an energetic individual or family. She is a pitbull mix, not sure of what other breeds she has within her genes. She has good temperament and loves to play. She will need some training in not jumping and pulling while walking on leash. I wish I could keep her but my allergies are bad and I am actually allergic to Dogs. She wandered onto my apartment porch back in February as a 2 to 3month old puppy and I decided to keep her, but my allergy issues and my roommate has COPD and it has unfortunately caused problems for him and I. I wish to have her placed in a good home because she is a beautiful, loving pup.

Story
Adopter or Foster Needed! Our very sweet, rescued dog Kash is in need of a back up foster. He's a 5-7 yr old big loverboy who's mellow. He loves kids & dogs of all sizes. If not introduced properly (very slowly) to cats, he can't be around them. Kash loves his toys, especially his green stuffie.. he carries it with him wherever he goes.💚🤗 His other favorite thing is being outside, as long as it's not cold! Kash is completely housetrained, leash trained, & quiet. When rescued, he was a hot mess healthwise. During his road to recovery, he's been an absolute angel. Each time he went to the vet, Kash made instant friends with the staff. If you met him, he would melt your heart too. He's such a LOVE.😇 Holiday time is exceptionally difficult for rescues. We need your help! Please consider giving the gift of time to Kash. If you will provide a temporary home for him while we search for his forever home, we will continue to provide any vet care & supplies. 🙏PLEASE HELP US FIND A FOSTER FOR KASH TODAY If you cannot foster him, please SHARE THIS POST All questions welcome! 615-540-8448 Furever Home Pet Rescue bemyforeverhome.org

Story
I rescued Rosie from a shelter over 2 years ago so we’re pretty heartbroken about having to rehome her. She’s about 3 years old and she’s a GREAT dog, but she has some personality traits that don’t make it ideal for her to be in a home with another dog. She can get jealous easily and is a little bit of a bully with our other dog to the point that they’ve gotten in some pretty serious fights lately that we almost couldn’t break up - hence why we have to rehome her. She’s never had any aggression towards people in any kind and is a sweetheart who just wants to cuddle all day. She’s had regular exams and dental cleanings (most recent of both was within the last few months), she’s crate trained, and has had regular flea/tick/heartworm prevention medication. She’s good with older kids, but she doesn’t have any experience with smaller kids so I’m unsure how she’d do. Same with cats. I’m happy to answer any other questions about her! We just really want her next home to be her forever home!

Story
Cammie is fostered in Huntsville, Tx. She was found as a stray on the streets of Houston. She is 6 years old and weighs 49lbs. She has skin allergies that can be managed by diet. She is house trained, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations and spayed. Due to her being unpredictably dog selective and actively seeking out other dogs, she will need an only dog home to live out her golden years. Cats are unknown. She is very low maintenance physically. She will do a good bout of zoomies once a day, nibble your ears, then be the best snuggle buddy you could ask for.

Story
Cici is a 40 pound-ish firecracker. She is very dog selective, so would be best in a home where she is the only one being adored. She does fine with the littles but will match and exceed their energy. She is about 2 yrs old. She was very timid/scared initially but soon settled in foster care. She is house broken and will sit for treats. Loves to have snuggles & belly rubs. She pulls a bit on leash and is not suitable for cats/small furries. We don't know what her story was before rescue, but we can imagine it based on her scars. Her new chapter started when she was rescued from a Houston Animal Shelter. Reach out if you are interested in meeting her. The application can be found at https://bullterrierclubofamericarescue.com/adoption-application-form/

Story
COURTESY POST: Meet Rocky. He is a sweet boy who has been with his current caretakers for a long time. Rocky is a social butterfly and loves the company of cats, kids, and other dogs. He is currently in boarding and desperately needs a foster home or an adopter. Rocky is fully vetted and ready to go to his new home. Please consider giving Rocky a loving home. Rocky is about 4 years old and weighs 65 pounds. Please note that we don't recommend Rocky to families with children under 5. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Diamond is a sweet, silly affectionate pup who is absolutely full of energy. Diamond is 3 1/2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. She is a boxer mix with short straight red fur. I adopted Diamond in June from the SPCA after she spent the first 3 years of her life in the shelter. Due to how she spent the first part of her life, Diamond does have some anxieties and reactive behaviors. She does best with other dogs her size or bigger when we go to the dog park. Due to her excitability, she can be overwhelming for smaller dogs and sometimes gets a bit too rough with them. Diamond is not great with cats at all. Diamond loves people and children, but because of her size and strength, older children (over age 6 or 7) would probably be best. While she is high-energy, Diamond loves to snuggle and definitely thinks she is a lap dog. Diamond would do best in a home with a yard. She loves being outdoors and would stay out there all day if allowed. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m having to rehome her due to my living and working situation and not being able to give her the amount of training and space she really needs to thrive. She needs someone who can train her well and who can address her reactive behaviors. Diamond really is a sweet dog who is great to snuggle up with. She just needs and deserves more than I can give her at this current time. Diamond is up to date on all shots through May 2025. She has been microchipped, spayed and is mostly house-trained (accidents still sometimes happen). This lovable, active pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you?
