Cookie came to us from Victoria Animal Control after being hit by a car. She was unable to stand and was in severe pain. Luckily, she found a foster home where she was able to heal and turn into her sweet self. Cookie is a little skittish at first but is very sweet once she’s settled. Mornings for Velveeta begin slowly with big stretches, but get exciting in the yard with a zoomie combination that involves goofy spin moves and a classic Bull Terrier hucklebutt run. Throughout the day, her antics will keep you laughing, whether she's throwing herself into a full sploot, crawling under your bed, or flinging her body on the ground for a roll (she equally loves wallowing in dirt, lush grass, on concrete roads, fluffy beds, and soft rugs). Velveeta would enjoy an active, enriching lifestyle based in routine. She cherishes her daily walkies, where she trots near your side unless she sees a bicycle or electric scooter (she's a big fangirl, but is working on containing her excitement). She would fit seamlessly into a home where she can absorb all your attention but has potential for a well-matched doggie sibling who can read her cues. She's crate-trained, house-trained, and still adding tricks to her repertoire, which currently includes sit, down, spin, wait, touch, shake, and roll over. She will gladly interrupt your doomscrolling as she butts her way onto your lap with her little rhino head and settles in for a snuggle. Benzo is a good boy just has become too rough to play with my young boys (6&8) and 3yo chihuahua mix. He loves to jump on and over Ginger and she had no patience for him anymore. He loves to chew up any and everything that can be thrown around. I feel Benzo would do much better with someone who has more time for his energy level. We are gone must of the day leaving him kenneled causing him to act up lately.

Bones is your average bull terrier. He knows basic commands, is house trained, does wonderful with people, and does well with larger, older children. He is a freight train with no breaks on occasion. He has a super sweet personality and is just a plan joy to have around. He loves toys and treats and enjoys tug-o-war as a reward for good behavior. He shows a very high prey drive and will chase small critters, usually without intention to harm them. He has no off switch. His zoomies are a sight to behold but he has no idea when to shut off play mode until he's completely worn out. He needs a home that can keep his brain as well as his body busy on a normal schedule. We would be willing to consider a home with another dog if the dog matches his energy or is very very passive. He tends to be to much for most dogs and hasn't learned the cue that other dogs are done playing. Bull terrier experience is a MUST for his new family. He is not a dog for the faint of heart or new BT owners. 7/14/2023 Pancho II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Pancho! I am a 1.5 year old handsome brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to dynamics in my family changing and they are no longer able to provide me with the time that I need since moving into my second home. I am described as active, friendly, smart, protective, and playful. I currently live with other resident dogs and we are said to get along fine. There are no kids in my home but when I had exposure to kids at the dog park, I was fine with them. I do not live with cats but will bark at them from the house when they walk by, so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. I do need some help with learning how to be house trained and crate trained, if that is required in my forever home. I am a quick learner so these should be easy for me to learn. Currently I sleep outside but would love to sleep indoors like I have in the past. If I must be left alone, it is suspected that I could be curious and not have the best behavior because I’m used to being left alone with the resident dogs and used to having company. When I am outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but I am curious about what is under the grass and will dig to find out. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, wrestling and chasing other dogs, watching tv, going to the dog park, being with the humans, and cuddling. Hey there! I'm Galahad, but you can call me G for short! I might not know my exact age, but I think I'm around 4 years young. I've been chilling with my foster fam since September, and while it's been fun, I'm totally ready to find my forever home. Not sure where these scars came from—my previous human tried patching me up after some rough times, but I ended up with these chemical burns. Thankfully, I'm feeling way better since saying bye-bye to that pesky eye. Now I'm ready to tackle life head-on! I love hanging out with little humans, and I've never been aggressive with people. When it comes to furry friends, I'm good with those too, but it might take me a little while to get comfy. Patience and slow introductions are a must. I'm all about that active lifestyle, especially when it involves leash adventures. Walking or running, count me in! I LOVE exercise. I can get a bit reactive around other dogs while on leash, but my foster mom's been training me on leash manners—I'm a fast learner, promise! House-trained? Check. Crate-loving? Not so much. I'm more of a free spirit. I've got the whole house-training thing down, but truth be told, I'm not a big fan of the crate life. I'm pretty laid-back overall, but when visitors come over, I can't help but show some excitement. Who can blame me, right?
