Story
When you eat your Thanksgiving turkey- will you think of me?? I will be right next to you trying to get it... NOW will you think of me?? LOL, ok, I kid.... I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! So, what are you waiting for? Look me up, take me on adventures when you apply to adopt me! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Spanky!  You'll never meet a fella so peppy and full of life. Spanky is a stinkin' cute guy, he is a Bull Terrier mix, which you can see in his sweet round face. We estimate him to have been born in late 2018, but this guy is still full of youth. He came to us originally as a stray, and he was wearing a collar that was so tight it made his breathing hoarse. Despite the discomfort he was in, Spanky is incredibly friendly and loves almost everyone he's met since! He is so outgoing, and gets thrilled when someone gives him love. Spanky has been working on basic commands in his time with us, and is currently learning 'sit' and some better leash manners. Like most pups, he loves a good treat, but the real way to his heart is through toys! If you want to get specific, squeaky toys rock his world. Spanky could keep himself entertained for hours and hours with a good squeaker. He is a tough chewer, though, so we recomend more durable ones like rubber toys. Spanky will make a great addition to the right home, and his perfect family would love to play with him all day long. Spanky is gentle enough to be good with kids too. He is best suited to be an only pet. Spanky is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. He weighs roughly 60lbs. Interested in this cute guy? Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. Story
This pretty little English Bulldog girl is called Natasha and she is guessed to be 8 years or a little more, and weighs 42 lb. She was found at a construction site wandering as a stray in a small town in Middle Tennessee.  The people that found her couldn't believe that such a sweet girl could possibly be lost.  After posts were made on Facebook and social media, no one ever came forward to claim her. The shelter was full at her small town and the people that found her just could not take her there even if it could accept her. She's too special. This little girl is recovering from a former flea infestation and has some patches on her back that are missing hair but growing hair back now.  She's got the normal senior hip arthritis and needs some pain meds from time to time and some good joint medicine will help a great deal. Her teeth are good, her eyesight is fine and her sweet personality is over the top of the chart. She's affectionate with everyone and oh so sweet. We have found her to be good with other dogs and housebroken. We have not tried her with cats,  but she seems to have the personality that would be loving and welcoming to all creatures that she meets. She walks a little slower as can be expected at her age, but she exudes a gratitude for having been given a place to stay.  As they always say, a rescue dog will always let you know that they appreciate what you have done for them.  With Natasha you can see it in her eyes and her spirit. She is a joy that someone needs to have in their life.   If you understand the Bulldog breed, then you will be happy to know that this is a rare girl to be offered. She's healthy and all other ways except a little arthritis and missing a little bit of hair. Natasha is special and we are looking for that very special person or family to adopt her. Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested. Please mention where you live since we adopt not only to Tennessee residents but also to Northeastern states and we transport there PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm
