Story
Otis is an11 yr old bull terrier, house trained and always wanting to play. Loves tug of war walks/hikes and swimming. I adopted him in 2014 as a 7 month old puppy and he’s been with me since. My wife and I have a small child which he has shown anxiousness with and I’m afraid they cannot co habitat. Needs a home with no pets or small children. Has shown food aggression and doesn't like to be bothered when laying in his bed. Would be a great companion for the right owner.

Story
Meet Kimber - if you are looking for a low maintenance dog that loves to watch TV, cuddle, play with toys, and curl up in blankets, this is your girl.Kimber is a very sweet female cuddle bug that is a 5 years old bull terrier mix that weighs 55 pounds. She went through the obedience training program at the prison and has learned so much! She loves all people including older kids, is house trained and goes in her crate when her foster is away. She does want to be the only pet in her home and would do best with a fenced-in yard. She will go on walks but doesn't necessarily need them. She loves sleeping in bed or watching TV. Kimber is a smart girl that loves her human attention and has done great at all events we have taken her to. She has been great with every single person she's met and her fav person is the mailman since he always brings treats.Kimbers ideal home would be calm and quiet with her people nearby. She would do fine with respectful older children or an adult only house. Our girl is a homebody and just enjoys being with her family. Her foster mom would be glad to answer any questions. Kimber is truly a WONDERFUL dog. If you're interested in meeting this loving girl, apply at www.caninecollective.org. She deserves a forever home! Note: Without a DNA test or direct information about the parents, the breed listed is based on our best guess or from the use of a breed identification app

Story
Meet Rocky he is a 3 year old boxer pit bull mix. He is a very sweet boy that I found running loose in Westerville Ohio. Ive had him now for 5 months. The only reason I’m not keeping him is space my financials and I already have 2 dogs. But back to Rocky I believe he was raised with an iron fist. He can be startled by things but is easily assured. He loves bones and toys!! Overall a great dog loves to lay on the couch and prefers sleeping in the bed while touching you, lol. He has learned that talking to him sternly doesn’t mean that he’s gonna get hit or he’s in trouble. It just means he needs to listen and focus and he listens really well. I think he would be great for a young person. That’s just looking to have a companion. I don’t have kids so I say no kids just b/c he doesn’t like to be pulled on,moved/pushed. The truth is he just wants to be loved petted some treats toys and you will make him so happy. I just want the best for him he deserves to know the best life a dog can have.

Story
Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs around 75 pounds. Gypsy has been with us for 3 years, and we don't know why she has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog we have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with older children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. To emphasize...although Gypsy generally gets along with all dogs (she currently lives in a home with 14 other dogs both large and small and there are no problems), She either needs to be the only dog in the house or only paired with one other large male dog. Gypsy has been with the rescue for 3 years and a change will be scary. She needs an experienced adopter who is patient understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to get comfortable in a new home. She is a great dog for a single person or couple. Any children should be over 10 years of age. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to several scheduled stops in Ohio - including but not limited to - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron OH Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl. Story
Yellow Lab/Pitbull/Mix DOB:  Approx.  08/07/23 Goldie Girl is the darling of our program.  She was found wandering down the street in a neighborhood.  She was lost, scared.  Her little tail was tucked between her legs, her little paws were raw from walking and looking for her owners who drove away after removing her collar. Goldie was seen walking up and down the streets for several days...looking, walking, running to each person that she saw until she realized it wasn't who she was looking for.  Finally, a kind neighbor went out to her, and talked to her quietly and told her that everything would be okay.  And she said that Goldie looked at her...really looked at her....and she untucked her tail and she wagged it just a little bit.  For the first few days, Goldie sat by the door, watching and waiting for her owner to return.  It was heartbreaking.  But as time went on, she started to play and follow the other dogs in the home around.  And even though the sadness was still there, in her eyes sometimes and when she saw someone come to the door, we saw her true self start to shine through. Goldie loves other dogs. She is sweet and loves them all.  She is even good with cats.  She is just a sweet girl.  She has learned to "sit", is mastering potty training, and is learning to go into a crate and not be sad.  But most of all, she is a cuddler.  She wants to cuddle all of the time....she wants to be right next to her people...probably so they don't leave her again.  She is learning to be carefree and happy again and she LOVES to play and run and jump.  She is finally feeling happy...and Goldie will make a sweet addition and best friend for someone.  But we ask that if you adopt her and promise to be her person that you promise to be her person forever.  Goldie's heart would be broken if this happens to her again.  So if you can open your home and your heart to Goldie for the rest of her life, please complete an on-line Adoption Application at https://www.jotform.com/form/223107373504044 and meet the best little girl who will make you finally understand what it means to be unconditionally loved!
