Story
Meet Lula, the Speedy Senior with the Best Brows in Town! Can you believe this gorgeous girl is still looking for a forever home? Just look at those eyebrows—she’s practically a supermodel! And don’t let her age fool you; Lula might be a senior, but she can outrun any 9-year-old dog in the neighborhood! Born in 2015, Lula is a stunning Terrier mix who’s equal parts loving and playful. She’s all about playing ball, snuggling on your lap, and enjoying leisurely walks. With her low to medium energy level, Lula is the perfect companion for a cozy night in or a fun day out. Housebroken and well-behaved, Lula is a dream to have around. She’s independent enough to be left alone without any issues, but she’ll be right there to greet you with tail wags when you come home. Lula needs to be the queen of her castle—she prefers being the only pet and would thrive in an adult home or one with older kids. If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a sweet senior superstar, Lula might just be your perfect match! Ready to bring this beautiful girl into your life? Apply to adopt Lula at Rescueridge.com. If your application is a good fit, a volunteer will get back to you soon. Please, no questions without an adoption application. And don’t forget to share Lula’s story—she’s waiting in Monmouth County, NJ, for her forever family! Story
Lola Bunny is a great young dog with a great personality. She just turned three on May 26. She is registered as an emotional support animal and she also has her pedigree documents. Lola has seasonal allergies and my home right now is not a good place for her. Due to my occupation, I will be moving a lot and would just want her to have a stable home as she is still very young and has much life in her.

Story
Diva is a 6 year old bull terrier mix queen who just adores humans. Frankly, she is the most forgiving and precious girl. She truly enjoys human interaction. You would never believe she was once a victim of human cruelty. Despite all her harsh experiences, she remains sweet, gentle, and trusting of all her human friends! Diva is a cuddle bug. All she wants to do is love and be loved. She is the perfect package and great for any home- she would love to be the only pet or have fursiblings. We are looking for a family that will love Diva, make her feel safe, and show her that the world can be beautiful.    In her previous life, we believe Diva was a breeding dog in a local puppy mill. Once she was considered useless to them, they tossed her out into the street, where she had to fight the elements to survive. Sadly, Diiva was found in a heart-breaking condition, battling starvation and 4 tumors. Our partners at KAW found her and brought her under their wing.    Diva is a resilient and fearless young lady. While in KAW’s care, she recovered beautifully from all that life threw her way. Now, she is completely healthy and ready for the new chapter in her life.  recovered from all her surgeries and is now completely healthy.   If interested in fostering or adopting Diva, please complete an application, which can be found on our website at www.twentypawsrescue.com/forms-applications. Please note that due to an email glitch, sometimes emails get lost. We respond to all emails so if you don’t hear back from us, please follow up!   Diva is due to arrive in Oct. Please email us if interested in fostering or adopting her. We are also in DIRE need of donations and sponsorship. Each dog costs $1400 to Rescue and bring to the states. Please consider donating even $1  November 2, 2024, 12:21 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tigger, a high-energy bull terrier and pit bull mix born in late 2015,  is the friendliest, most fun-loving little guy. He absolutely loves everyone he meets. While he especially loves children he is better suited to older kids, not little ones.  He likes to be king of his castle, so he should be the only pet in his home. And his home should be in a quiet suburb with a fenced yard where Tigger can play and burn off his energy. He loves his people so much, he needs them to be home a lot.  If you are an experienced dog owner who can give Tigger the forever home he's looking for, fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoptionGiven technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:34 am

Story
Luna was the dog of my sister and she ended up giving her to us after she had her baby. We have been taking care of her for the past 20 months but we’re not an active family and she gets so agitated being at home. She often wants to run away. She’s extremely friendly with other people and dogs and is very food motivated. I also can’t take care of her anymore because I have developed a spine issue which makes it hard for me to walk.
