Story
Dexter is an incredibly sweet and hyper boy. He is almost completely potty trained. He has not had any accidents in months and is used to using the bathroom outside on walks at 7am and 6:30p. He knows how to sit and recognizes get down and his name. Dexter is used to kennel training and does not bark. Dexter loves cuddles and attention, he just needs more training when it comes to walks (he gets lazy and stubborn sometimes). He is incredibly playful and sweet. Dexter needs a house with other big dogs to play with and a big backyard to run around. He would be a wonderful addition to any home. He is 9 months old and he’s such an adorable boy. I would keep him forever if my allergies weren’t as serious.

Story
Are you in the market for a silly girl who will provide you with entertainment, cuddles, adventure and lots of joy? Look no further than our sweet Maggie! She is a real hoot, loves to strike various poses to show her "sophisicated" side, but will also expose all her lady parts with no shame (ha!). Her sleeping positions are quite interesting, but hey, whatever works, right? She's just happy to have a softy, comfy bed/couch/pillow! She LOVES car rides and has done her best to convince us she has an official driver's license (lookout! she WILL try to get in your lap as you're headed down the highway!). She is highly motivated to please, is smart as a whip, but a bit stubborn (what lady isn't?!). She can be a bit choosy about who her dogs friends are and doesn't appreciate a dominant dog. She's a modern gal who would like to be in charge, thank you very much. She is currently fostering with another female and is getting along just fine. She loves people of all ages and will insist that she have the best spot in your bed when nightime rolls around. Maggie is a determined girl who has overcome the odds after being confiscated from her owners by law enforcement for animal neglect, then a stay that was more than a year long in a rural Missouri shelter. The kennel she was in was so small and she was doing her best to show a happy face to potential adopters, to the point she wagged her tail so much against the walls it had to be partially amputated. She previously lived with 4 other dogs who were also seized and sadly remain in that shelter. Maggie holds no ill will towards humans, remarkably, and is an absolute delight to be around! We have promised Maggie she will never again experience neglect or heartache. If you would like to add this charming lady to your life, she will reward you with doggy kisses and (half) tail wags! Maggie is a female Boxer/mix who was was born approximately 6-28-20 and weighs 55 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
