Story
Stewy is an energetic and joyful 6-month-old Bull Terrier with a heart full of love and excitement. He’s a happy-go-lucky pup who adores everyone he meets, showering them with sweet Bull Terrier "love nibbles!" While Stewy can be dominant around other dogs and a bit possessive of his toys (only with other dogs), he’s a quick learner and would thrive in a home with a submissive dog and a dedicated owner. With continued training and guidance, Stewy is sure to grow into an even more wonderful companion. This playful and loving boy is ready to bring joy to a home that can help him blossom into the best version of himself.   If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Meet Abiya – The Snuggly English Bull Terrier Pup Who Loves Her People! Abiya is an adorable English Bull Terrier puppy who was lucky enough to be born in rescue, giving her the best possible start in life. At just 9 weeks old, Abiya is already known for her sweet, affectionate nature and her love for being close to her humans. She’s a true cuddlebug who thrives on companionship and will be happiest in a home where her people are around often   Abiya’s mom weighs about 40 pounds, and dad is a solid 50, so she’s likely to grow into a sturdy, medium-sized companion. Potential adopters should have breed experience or deep knowledge about English Bull Terriers. While they’re often compared to Pit Bull Terriers, English Bull Terriers are unique with their own set of lovable and challenging traits. Special Considerations for Abry Training and socialization are essential for Abry to ensure she grows into a well-rounded adult dog, and she’ll return the effort with unwavering loyalty and cuddles galore. What Makes Bull Terriers Special? Bull Terriers are best known for their: Goofy personalities:   From spontaneous zoomies to carrying around odd treasures, they keep you laughing. Clown-like behavior:   They’re natural comedians and love being the center of attention. Stubborn streak:   These pups are smart but can be headstrong, so patient, positive reinforcement training is key. Endless energy:   Playful and energetic, they need daily mental and physical stimulation to thrive. Is Abiya the Right Fit for You? English Bull Terriers are not a good match for first-time dog owners or families with small children due to their strength, boisterous nature, and need for consistent boundaries. Abiya’s ideal adopter will: Have prior experience with Bull Terriers or similar breeds. Provide a loving home where she can be close to her humans and/or a companion dog. Be ready to embrace her playful yet snuggly personality. If you’re looking for a pup who will fill your life with laughter, love, and cuddles, Abiya might just be your perfect match! Story
Meet Abby Cadabby – A Sweet Bull Terrier in Search of Love and Healing! Abby Cadabby, a 4-year-old English Bull Terrier, is a gentle, playful soul ready to embrace her well-earned retirement. Rescued from a breeder, Abby came to her foster family very pregnant, malnourished, and unfamiliar with the comforts of indoor living. But this resilient girl has quickly caught on, making herself at home—especially on the couch! Abby loves chasing toys, playing fetch, and showing off her adorable bunny-like bounces. When she’s extra excited, she does the infamous Bull Terrier hucklebutts before rolling over for belly rubs. Abby is especially fond of children, showing a soft and gentle nature uncommon in her breed. That being said, small children are not recommended for the breed as they bull terriers can get rowdy and a bit rough with play.  True to her Bull Terrier roots, she still gives lip smacks and happy nibbles, so her ideal adopter will have breed knowledge or experience to appreciate these quirks. Abby also prefers to be the only dog in her home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.  Most importantly, Abby needs someone ready to help her heal the rest of the way, finish potty training, and spoil her rotten for all the love and affection she missed in her early years. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Abby Cadabby, she’ll fill your life with magic, joy, and unconditional love.  If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
