Story
Meet Abby Cadabby – A Sweet Bull Terrier in Search of Love and Healing! Abby Cadabby, a 4-year-old English Bull Terrier, is a gentle, playful soul ready to embrace her well-earned retirement. Rescued from a breeder, Abby came to her foster family very pregnant, malnourished, and unfamiliar with the comforts of indoor living. But this resilient girl has quickly caught on, making herself at home—especially on the couch! Abby loves chasing toys, playing fetch, and showing off her adorable bunny-like bounces. When she’s extra excited, she does the infamous Bull Terrier hucklebutts before rolling over for belly rubs. Abby is especially fond of children, showing a soft and gentle nature uncommon in her breed. That being said, small children are not recommended for the breed as they bull terriers can get rowdy and a bit rough with play. True to her Bull Terrier roots, she still gives lip smacks and happy nibbles, so her ideal adopter will have breed knowledge or experience to appreciate these quirks. Abby also prefers to be the only dog in her home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. Most importantly, Abby needs someone ready to help her heal the rest of the way, finish potty training, and spoil her rotten for all the love and affection she missed in her early years. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Abby Cadabby, she’ll fill your life with magic, joy, and unconditional love. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
