I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to schedule a time to meet with me, please contact my foster parent at aallshouse72@gmail.com. Hi! My name is GALA, that’s G as in glamorous, A for affectionate, L like loving, and A for how adoptable I am!I am obsessed with my stuffed animals. I will always be down to show anyone and everyone alllll my toys. But I can also read the room and lay in bed with you for hours if that’s the vibe.Speaking of, I really don’t mind being left home alone for a work day. Honestly, chilling by myself is soooo much better than being in that awful shelter. I’m happy to just curl up on the couch for hours or keep myself busy with some of my favorite toys. I guess you could say I prefer the indoors. Don’t get me wrong, I love a hike! But maybe it’s just these city sidewalks that never seem better than my big comfy couch. Some might say I`m a little food motivated...but what`s wrong with a nice snack?! I`ve been really enjoying all the treats I get for working on `Down,` `Wait,` and `Drop it.`Not to brag, but I also take baths like a champ. Don`t get me wrong, we all have things to work on, but I`m a pretty great friend. I just usually prefer my friends to take human form instead of canine. I know things are super competitive these days trying to just get an interview, but I pinky puppy promise to be a massive asset in your life! Ask me anything and let’s get to know each other!

I`m in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parent at robinseegers@gmail.com.Who is black and white and looks like a little cow but does not MOO!!? It’s Tiggy the sweet pup! Tiggy is a friendly funster ready for a great life with an active family. She loves to be busy and expects us to join in on the fun and games. We have no idea how such a lovely doggie ends up as a stray but she’s ready to move on. Tiggy has that classic silly young dog energy so get ready for lots of play and walks times. She would love a home where she is treated with kindness as she figures out her new world. Please meet this pretty little gal soon- she is so sweet!

Story
Please contact Maddy Karon (maddyk@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet girl seeking her happily ever after!ELLA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name: Ella          Best Guess for Breed:  Bull terrier mix   Best Guess for Age:  6 years as of October 2024       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  45 lbs   Gets Along With:   Ella would like to shine as the only dog in her home! She has lived with an infant and a toddler. She hasn't been seen with cats but can be tested if you have them.    Currently Living at:   DC area home   All about Ella:   Ella came into our care in 2019 and was adopted out to a loving home where she joined another dog. Her adopters took wonderful care of her, making sure she had everything she needed to be healthy and happy. She quickly showed how much she loves her humans and lavished affection upon them. The years went by. Two children joined the family, and Ella loved them very much too. She just takes so much pleasure in being with people.   One thing has changed since 2019: How she feels about other dogs. She initially did well with the other dog who was already in the home, and was ok with dogs she met outside of the home. However, as time passed, she started showing some behaviors that indicate she would be better off as the only dog in the home. Her owners did everything right - training, veterinary behaviorist, applied all the recommended interventions. After many months of professional support, everyone understood what Ella was saying: That she really likes people. Dogs, not so much. Her humans made the difficult decision to allow Ella to find a home where she can be comfortable and happy - and the canine queen of her castle. She is wonderful in the home. She's crate trained and uses the crate as one of her rotating preferred 'chill' spots. She becomes very happy and excited when her humans return home - she is what makes a house a home.Ella has so much love to give, so much life to add to a home. So many tail wags and adoring gazes for her humans. What do you say? Are you looking for a very special one and only? Meet Ella and see if she is the one for you!Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
Dulce is a very friendly and fun-loving gal. She is extremely social with all people and all animals, but she really lights up when there are kids around. She can be a bit too in your face at times.... but she's still young and inquisitive. She is learning boundaries along with tons of other commands since she's a very smart cookie. And even though her videos show her happy, active side she definitely knows how to chill out and cuddle.

Story
MAX is the dog of the HOUR!!!! There isn't a better dog available. Max's life began dreadfully. In his short life of 1.5 years old, Max found himself without a home, had to have an extensive surgery on his hip due to an unknown injury, and has lived for months in a kennel in boarding at a vet clinic. He is completely vetted, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and is heartworm negative! He weighs approximately 45 to 50 pounds. Recently, Max landed the best foster home ever and is showing off his awesome personality! If you have other pets, he will love them!!! He gets along with cats, dogs, birds and even tortoises. He is very playful and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Max does like to be near his person and seems to have some separation anxiety. His favorite things are lying next to his person, playing with his Nylabone or squeaky toy, and romping and playing with a willing canine. He loves car rides and walks very well on a leash. He sits, shakes hands, and also knows other tricks. He is also very willing to learn more!! Max would excel in a home with another pet, and it would be awesome if he could be someone that works from home or could bring him to work. He has excellent house manners and does his business outside!

Story
Benji is a 1-year-old Bull Terrier mix with a heart of gold and a passion for cozy naps and outdoor adventures! He's the best life companion, making him the perfect dog for families that love to play and go outdoors. He likes belly scratches, butt scratches, long walks, and other dogs (sometimes a little too much). He loves to play all day since he has a ton of energy, all types of food, he loves people, and being out in the sun. He does not like cones but he can tolerate them, celery, and water in most forms - showers, pools, beaches. He doesn't like being ignored too long, and has a tad bit of separation anxiety at times. Benny would thrive in a home where he can get lots of love and attention but some time for him to sleep as well. He loves a bit of adventure and plenty of time to relax by your side. If you're looking for a loyal, loving buddy who's happy to explore by day and cuddle by night, he is right dog for you!
