Hi, I'm Lisa! I’m a 6-month-old pup weighing about 32 pounds, and I’ve already had quite the adventure in my life thus far. I was found all alone wandering the streets of Georgia, and now I’m living my best life up in Illinois, hoping to find a forever family to call my own. I’m a sweet, playful girl who loves nothing more than to be with her favorite humans. I also LOVE to play with other dogs and have gotten along with everyone I've met. Since the canine friend I live with in foster is 8 years old and can't quite play all day anymore, I'm also very content to settle down and get to work on a bone. I’m proud to say I’m already crate trained and house trained, so I know how to be a polite house pup too! I sleep through the night in my kennel without a peep and have no problem spending some time in there throughout the day. I’m also steadily working on building my confidence, and I've been told I’m doing great with gentle encouragement, routine, and love. My foster parents say they're not sure what I might have had to go through in my short life thus far, but I’m learning quickly that my new world is a pretty great, safe place! If you’re looking for a loving, goofy puppy who’s ready to snuggle, play, and build confidence by your side, I might just be the perfect newest addition to your family. All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

Alpine is sure a unique-looking young boy; he is thought to possibly be a Bull Terrier Mix?? He’s estimated to be about 50 lbs. His estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Alpine is a typical young pup, very energetic and playful. He likes to jump and can sometimes forget himself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…he is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family he so deserves.. Alpine likes playing with other dogs; he’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. However because of his high energy level, he may be too much for another dog, and be happy as an only dog, with an active family and possibly older kids to keep him busy and active! An ideal family for Alpine is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Alpine to be the best version of himself! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. But he’d be great as an only dog too!! Alpine is crate-trained and housebroken. He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is neutered and microchipped.
