Story
Nismo is a loving cuddly baby who is 8 years old. He loves running and going for walks, he is fantastic with children and always wants to be by their side. He will need someone who is home with him for most of the day as he gets separation anxiety. He is genuinely just a lover and a big baby who just needs someone who is home with him to love on him and cuddle with him.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Freya has been through a lot in her young life. She was originally living with a homeless person who died so she ended up in a rural shelter. We saved her from euthanasia as she was exhibiting signs of stress!! She would suck on her tail for comfort. Freya was flourishing in a caring boarding facility where she is doing very well at learning to be a dog and have fun. She was in a temporary foster home with 2 dogs and a cat. She watches the cat and is very curious. With supervision there have been no issues, if our cat would run, no doubt she would chase it. She loves the attention from kids, best to be older, dog savvy - 10 years old + as she can be mouthy. Freya sleeps in a crate overnight with no fuss or accidents. Good walking on a leash with a harness. She taught herself to use the doggy door. Not bothered by thunderstorms. Freya will be going for board and train to set her up for success. She would love to go into her forever home after that. Training stars 8/31/24 until the end of September. If there is another dog in the home, it would need to be playful, high energy to match Freya. She would be too much for low-key dogs. On a day trip, taken out by one of our volunteers, they said: She was super sweet all day, barely tugged on the leash towards the end and didn’t act anxious at all. She loved hanging out next to the water at the few parks we went to and enjoys tug of war as well! She’s definitely a wind in her hair type of girl and likes her head out the window, also super curious with every flower she came across Freya is still just a baby learning the world isn't such a bad place. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Meet Sandy! Have you ever seen a dog tiptoe? Sandy, a 5-year-old, 50 lb Bully mix, will quietly and slowly tiptoe through the yard in search of lizards. This beautiful redhead is full of personality and has a gentle way of getting your attention—she’ll softly tap you with her paw if she wants some pets. Sandy loves her walks so much that she’ll chat with you all the way to the door! Besides her charm, she’s a thoughtful housemate who doesn’t chew or dig, is fully housebroken, and feels comfortable in her crate. Sandy gets along with other dogs given a proper introduction. If you’re looking for a loving and quirky companion, Sandy might be the perfect fit!  If you are looking for a beautiful, loving companion with a great personality, Sandy could be your perfectmatch!  If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application   My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Story
Hello, My name is Tank. I have had a really ruff start in life. My first owner was homeless so I lived on the streets not knowing when I would get my next meal. My owner was arrested and had to surrender me. I wasn’t in the shelter long before I was adopted for a Christmas present. After Christmas, my new owners drove me far away from my new home and threw me out of a moving vehicle in negative 0 temperatures. How lucky was I that my current owner saw me getting thrown out and immediately took me in. She went through all the proper channels and legally adopted me. We just moved to Florida and the stress of the move has caused me to fight with my 3 fur brothers. I am really a good boy and I love to cuddle. My mom is so sad. I am extremely healthy, I have “cherry eyes” and my mom took me to vet and was told they do not hurt or bother me, it is more cosmetic. My mom says I am still a handsome boy. I just need to be in a home where I am the only dog getting all the love and attention.
