Story
Petey hasn't always had the best of luck, but he is the sweetest and most playful little guy you will meet! He loves his people and craves constant pets! He is young and very playful, so he needs an active home or at least a home with a backyard so that he can play! Petey is strong and loves to take walks. He has a big appetite and looks forward to mealtime and treats. Chew bones are his favorite. He is observant and is always alert and ready to please. He does well with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Petey got a clear bill of health from the vet and is ready to travel today to his forever home! If you are interested in adopting please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our adoption and transport process and you can submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog The adoption fee is $399 and transport will be an additional $200 if they have to be transported out of TN where they are currently fostered.

Story
When you eat your Thanksgiving turkey- will you think of me?? I will be right next to you trying to get it... NOW will you think of me?? LOL, ok, I kid.... I do love turkey though :) I am Wishbone, and I am a bull terrier/beagle mixed boy with a story to tell! I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! So, what are you waiting for? Look me up, take me on adventures when you apply to adopt me! ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

These pups are in Meriden, Connecticut too!

Story
Meet our handsome meatball head named Hunter! Hunter is about 2 years old and he is some kind of American Bully breed mix. He was surrendered to our shelter after his owner could no longer care for him in their very busy home. Hunter is a very friendly and outgoing boy who will just jump in your car and go along for the ride! He loves toys and will happily bring them to you while simultaneously running in to your shins. He has a short and stocky, muscular body style. When Hunter first comes outside, he can be an energetic guy, but he does calm down quickly and he likes to entertain himself with tough chew, Nyla bone style toys. He also likes to do the "frog" where he lays out on the ground to cool off. Hunter is a happy, compact guy who just wants some loving attention. He would love to have a family to give him all the attention and cuddles he deserves! He did live with children in his previous home, and we were told he was fine with all of them. Hunter is good with other dogs and he can go to a home with kids 10 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Hunter, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! His adoption fee is $75.00. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
