Story
Hi, his name is Benzo. He is a Pocket Bully(expensive breed $2500-$5000). He 3.5 years old. He had unique “heart” spot on his back. He is house trained. Very good with other dogs. Good with kids. Well behaved. Our family is just getting too big for our small house. We don’t have time for him as we are a young family of 5. We would love for him to find a family that would have time to love and care for him. Feel free to contact me directly to schedule a meeting (xxx) xxx-xxxx .

Story
Peggy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Petey hasn't always had the best of luck, but he is the sweetest and most playful little guy you will meet! He loves his people and craves constant pets! He is young and very playful, so he needs an active home or at least a home with a backyard so that he can play! Petey is strong and loves to take walks. He has a big appetite and looks forward to mealtime and treats. Chew bones are his favorite. He is observant and is always alert and ready to please. He does well with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Petey got a clear bill of health from the vet and is ready to travel today to his forever home! If you are interested in adopting please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our adoption and transport process and you can submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog The adoption fee is $399 and transport will be an additional $200 if they have to be transported out of TN where they are currently fostered.

Story
Meet our sweet Brandy. Brandy loves life and knows how to make the most out of it. That being said, there are three things she especially loves: kids, playing with empty water jugs, and other dogs. Brandy is approximately 18 months old, and 51lbs. She is spayed, fully vetted, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She would probably do best in a home without cats. She isn’t looking to hurt them, but she is curious about them and wants to play so she chases them. Brandy loves kids and all people. She gets along well with other dogs of all-sizes. She loves toys, water (and playing with empty water jugs), and taking baths. She’s housebroken. She knows her name, understands sit, stay, and come, and is generally well-behaved. She’s strong and playful. She loves car rides. The best-fit family for Brandy would be an active family that goes hiking. She’d also make a great running buddy. She would love going on long walks and would really appreciate a fenced yard where she can run and play. Brandy's back story: Brandy was dumped out on the streets and left to fend for herself. A sweet lady found her and decided to bring her home. According to her, Brandy is a sweetheart. But she’s also a strong and energetic girl and her finder is a lady in her mid-70s who can't give her what she needs. So she asked us to find Brandy the best home possible for her. She will be transported to NJ when adopted. To apply to adopt, please copy and paste the link below into your browser: https://form.jotform.com/210286667669167 We always need fosters, please join us! Story
MAX is the dog of the HOUR!!!! There isn't a better dog available. Max's life began dreadfully. In his short life of 1.5 years old, Max found himself without a home, had to have an extensive surgery on his hip due to an unknown injury, and has lived for months in a kennel in boarding at a vet clinic. He is completely vetted, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and is heartworm negative! He weighs approximately 45 to 50 pounds. Recently, Max landed the best foster home ever and is showing off his awesome personality! If you have other pets, he will love them!!! He gets along with cats, dogs, birds and even tortoises. He is very playful and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Max does like to be near his person and seems to have some separation anxiety. His favorite things are lying next to his person, playing with his Nylabone or squeaky toy, and romping and playing with a willing canine. He loves car rides and walks very well on a leash. He sits, shakes hands, and also knows other tricks. He is also very willing to learn more!! Max would excel in a home with another pet, and it would be awesome if he could be someone that works from home or could bring him to work. He has excellent house manners and does his business outside!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tigger, a high-energy bull terrier and pit bull mix born in late 2015,  is the friendliest, most fun-loving little guy. He absolutely loves everyone he meets. While he especially loves children he is better suited to older kids, not little ones.  He likes to be king of his castle, so he should be the only pet in his home. And his home should be in a quiet suburb with a fenced yard where Tigger can play and burn off his energy. He loves his people so much, he needs them to be home a lot.  If you are an experienced dog owner who can give Tigger the forever home he's looking for, fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoptionGiven technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:34 am
