Story
Hey Everyone, I’m Sienna an almost 4-year-old spayed female Brittany searching for the right place to call Home Forever! Right now, I’m enjoying the good life in a great foster home here in Southeast PA. My foster Mom says I’m a complete sweetheart, even though the first 3 years of my life were not the best. You see, before coming into NBRAN I lived in a placed called Louisiana, where my previous owner kept me and several other Britts hidden away in a closed down building that was until March of this year, when we were finally discovered by the kind people at Louisiana Animal Control, you can read about our rescue here https://stlandrypg.org/2024/03/st-landry-parish-investigators-arrest-man-on-animal-cruelty-charges/ Since coming to my foster home here in PA, I have learned so many things like, snuggling with my furry foster sister Emma is great and so is pulling all the toys out of the toy box just to take then outside with me when foster Mom isn’t looking. I can still be a bit nervous when first seeing a new person, but if you wait with your hand down, I will soon be your best friend. I also enjoy lying on the bed and getting belly rubs too. Toys are my favorite, and I have one or two, “babies”, that I like to have near me all the time too! Car rides do make me nervous, but if you let me sit right next to you I will lay my head on your lap and relax and enjoy the trip. My foster Mom says I still have puppy tendencies too, which means I’m still have some learning to do. I’m good on leash but still need work on basic commands. I will also need lots of chewing options and loud noises are scary. I have also been crate trained with another dog that is relaxed like me. I love other dogs, cats, kids and other animals too. I would love a New Home with a physically fenced yard and also another dog or two who loves to run and play too. I’m spayed, micro chipped, and up to date on vaccines. I have also completed Heartworm treatment and will NEED be keep on Heartworm Prevention, as well as, must sure to have regular check out with my vet! Now all that’s missing it my Forever Home, Is that your home? If so, please consider filling out an application for ME Sienna online at: http://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application. Once your application is submitted the coordinator in the State where you reside will follow-up with you. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here http://nbran.org/about/state-provincial-coordinators.
