Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  July 6, 2024, 5:27 pm

Story
Meet Hunter Lee: Your Loyal and Loving Companion! Hello there! Hunter Lee here, ready to charm my way into your heart and home. I’m a 3 ½-year-old, 38 lb, liver and white Brittany with a heart as big as my love for life. While my name suggests I might be a hunter, my real talent lies in spotting those sneaky birds and squirrels and keeping them in line. Because of my keen eye, I need a 6-foot privacy fence to ensure I can patrol safely. Why I’m Your Perfect Match: Healthy and Handsome: I’m neutered, housebroken, and up-to-date on all my vaccines. Plus, I’m heartworm and tick negative and on prevention. Friendly and Fun: I get along great with dogs and kids and basically love everyone I meet. Affectionate: I love being super close to my humans. I’ll make sure you know just how much I adore you with every cuddle and wag of my tail. My Dream Home: A Secure Yard: With a 6-foot privacy fence (No Chain-link), I’ll have the perfect space to keep an eye on those pesky critters and play safely. A Loving Family: I’m looking for a forever home where I’ll be loved, cuddled, and spoiled rotten. I promise to return every bit of love you give me tenfold. From My Heart to Yours: I’m more than just a pretty face—I’m a loyal friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, snuggling on the couch, or just being your constant companion, I’m ready to fill your life with joy and love. If you’re ready for a handsome, loving, and fun-filled addition to your family, look no further. I’m Hunter Lee, and I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventure together! The adoption fee for OK/Hunter Lee, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Hunter Lee part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Hunter Lee. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  July 6, 2024, 5:27 pm

Story
Meet Cooper G: The Bundle of Joy and Energy! Hey there, future family! I’m Cooper G, a 2 yr old, 42.5 lb bundle of orange and white Brittany fun!  I’m a pro at bringing joy and laughter into any home. I’m neutered, up-to-date on all my shots, and ready to steal your heart! Why You’ll Love Me: Master of Fetch: Got a ball? Great! I’ll fetch it for you. No ball? No problem! I can entertain myself by tossing my squeaky toys in the air and catching them like a circus star! Fencing Expert: I need a physical fence or wrought iron at least 5 feet tall because, let’s face it, I can jump a 4-foot fence like an Olympic athlete. Chain-link fences? I’ll just climb over those! Crate Trained and Housebroken: I’ve got my manners down. I know where to go and where not to go, if you catch my drift. Health Nut: I’m up-to-date on all my vaccinations, heartworm and tick-free, and on prevention. I’m a healthy boy ready for adventures! A Day in the Life of Cooper G: Start the day with a wagging tail and a big, goofy grin. Fetch, fetch, fetch! I love to play, and I promise to bring the ball back...most of the time. Squeaky toys are my jam. I’ll run around with them, toss them, and maybe even let you have a turn! Nap time is serious business. I need my beauty rest to maintain my charming looks and playful energy. End the day with some cuddles and affection. I’m a lover, not a barker. From My Foster Mom: “Cooper G is the sweetest, most loving pup you’ll ever meet. He’s amazing with other dogs and everyone he meets. He’s an independent player but loves to engage in a good game of fetch. Rarely barks, and always ready for fun!”  If I didn't travel so much, I would adopt him in a heartbeat. So, what do you say? Ready to add a dash of fun, a sprinkle of laughter, and a whole lot of love to your life? That’s me, Cooper G! Let’s make some unforgettable memories together! The adoption fee for TX/Cooper G, who lives in Round Rock, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Cooper G part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Cooper G. Story
Meet Scoutie: Your Future Best Friend! Hi there! My name is Scoutie, and I'm on a mission to find my forever home. I'm a 2 ½-year-old, 44-pound bundle of joy, wrapped in a handsome orange and white Brittany coat. Life has been quite the adventure so far, but I'm ready to settle down with a loving family who will cherish me as much as I'll cherish them. A Little About Me: Personality: I'm the definition of well-mannered and easy-going. Whether it's playing fetch in the yard or snuggling on the couch, I'm happiest when I'm with my people. Health: I'm up-to-date on all my vaccines and have a clean bill of health, including being heartworm and tick negative. Housebroken: Yep, no accidents here! I know my way around a house and will be a respectful roommate. Social Butterfly: I get along with everyone—humans, dogs, you name it! My foster mom says I have a heart of gold. Why I'm Looking for a New Home: My original family had to give me up for my safety, but now I'm in a loving foster home. My foster mom is dedicated to helping other dogs find homes too, so she's helping me find my perfect match. What I'm Looking For: A Secure Yard: I love to explore, so a physical fence of at least 5 ft is a must to keep me safe while I patrol the neighborhood. Companionship: While I'd enjoy having a doggy sibling, I'm also perfectly happy being your one and only as long as I'm the center of your world. Ready to make your life a little more wonderful? Let’s get that application started! I can’t wait to meet you and become the newest member of your family. The adoption fee for TX/Scoutie, who lives in Conroe, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Scoutie part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Scoutie. Story
Please contact Suzanne (ztasuzanne@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Take a look at this handsome boy! Max is a 2 year old orange roan 37 lb purebred male French Brittany. Max is neutered, heartworm negative and is UTD on his vaccines. He was surrendered by a French Brittany Breeder in Northeast Tennessee and is being fostered in the Memphis, Tn area. He is housetrained, crate trained and walks fairly well on a leash (his leash skills need some fine tuning). Max is eager to please but he is initially very timid and skittish. Once he warms up, he is a lovebug. He is more skittish of men than women. Max needs a patient home that understands he is cautious and slow to trust. He is startled easily by loud noises. Max is such a good boy, but in typical Brittany fashion has been caught counter surfing on occasion. Being only 2 years of age, Max still has lots of puppy tendencies like chewing. He is moderately active and sometimes prefers to be napping on the couch while his Brittany foster brother and sisters are outside pointing and chasing anything that flies. He has not been witnessed digging or trying to escape, but he sure can jump. Because of this, Max will need a 6 foot physical fence. Max is not a candidate for an invisible fence. Once Max trusts you, he will be your shadow and quickly becomes a lapdog! He is food motivated but not food aggressive. After watching him interact with his foster pack, his foster mom and dad feel he will need a doggie furbrother or fursister in his new home. It seems to make him more secure. Max will be a great pet for the right family. Max's adoption fee is $400. This adoption fee helps cover the costs of vaccines, medical incidentals and spay/neuter. Don't forget, NBRAN will transport adopted Brittanys up to 1400 miles with the adopter only being responsible for the last approximately 100 miles. If you would like to learn more about Max, please submit an adoption application by clicking this link https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application and contact Tennessee State Coordinators Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com OR Debbie Tuthill      Agilitybrits@epbfi.com            July 6, 2024, 5:27 pm

Story
My name is Jake, and I am a man’s boy.   I am 7 ½ yrs young, a neutered handsome 38 lb orange/white well-behaved boy. Housebroken, crate trained (thou I don’t need one), healthy, utd on all my vaccines. HW and Tick neg and on prevention. I would do my best as an only dog, and really just want to be your buddy and hang out together.  I have done well lately with other dogs, but I did have a problem in the beginning of my first foster home.   I have played in day care, got loose and hung out at a house with at least 6 kids and 2 pitties and a small terrier, but I really just want to be yours alone and be rotten spoiled.  I do need a physical fence, since I like to hunt.  if you have a hole somewhere in that fence on the bottom, I will go hunting.  I know my name.  I love to swim.   I really am the best Brittany boy you will ever find. Love going in the car and riding around as your side kick. From Foster Dad: Jake’s new family will truly be blessed.  I'm reading and he jumps on the couch, and immediately moves into position, crawls in my lap and flips over for belly rubs. He'll stay as long as you rub on him...  Whoever takes Jake needs to know his requirements, ie... he goes to breakfast with you, and really likes dry toast (no butter), and ham!  Jake is as good of a Brittany as you could ever own, and I've owned 5...he is beautiful, healthy, very smart, house broken, loving, non-destructive..... Actually don't know a lot of spouses that fit this bill!  We have seen him with multiple small children, several breeds of dogs, and he likes Me!  His hair does not hold dirt, and he sleeps in a kennel at night...he'd love to sleep with you even more!!!  I know he would prefer to be in bed and snuggled.  He has all his shots and even my vet tried to convince me to keep him. We are just gone too much... He is not a big barker! He sits and stays on command....my wife won't do that... He is a hunting dog by breed, so he needs some exercise each day....but so do all of us!!!  If you don't have a good fence, he will get out, but he did come back ...one of two times.  In short, he is a dog, but one you can love on and you will see a dog who will love you even harder!  I’ve never seen him climb a fence....but if there's a hole, he'll find it! The adoption fee for TX/Jake, who lives in FTW, TX  is $350,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Jake part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Jake. Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.    July 6, 2024, 5:27 pm
