Hi, I'm Ramsey! I'm a mighty handsome 7 1/2 year old purebred orange/white brittany weighing about 42 pounds. I recently found myself in need of a new home when my mom passed away. She's had me my whole life, so things look a little bit different now. Can you help me find my way to my new home? I've got a heart full of sweetness and a mind that's as sharp as a tack. I've got energy to burn and a playful spirit that can't be tamed. I'm a bit of a lone wolf and have always been an only dog. I don't mind companionship, but usually just want to do my own thing. I do make sure to check in with my humans and like to sit with them on the couch. The great outdoors is my playground and water? Oh boy, do I love a good splash! I even like baths! I'm also pretty keen on anything that moves. I'm told I have a great looking point. I'm also told I have some quirks, but who doesn't right? You see, my mom used a laser pointer to play with me when I was young, so now I hunt and chase shadows and moving light. I'm a real smart cookie and know sit, stay, back, shake/paw, leave it and no. I'm looking for someone who can keep up with my energetic lifestyle, who has a physically fenced yard that I can run and play in, and a pool or watering hole of some kind would be a bonus! My favorite place to be is outside and I love chewing on sticks and chasing after a ball. I'm also good with kids. I'm housebroken and crate trained, neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
