A night owl at heart, she prefers to conduct her toy auditions after midnight—very important work. Nefertiti is looking for a patient home that will let her warm up on her own terms. And when she does? Totally worth the wait. Her regal looks have us guessing she may have some British Shorthair in her background, possibly mixed with a touch of Persian cat—but like many rescue cats, her exact lineage is a mystery. Because of her beautiful white coat, she does get tear stains that need a quick daily wipe to keep her looking her best. Think of it as part of the royal grooming routine for this elegant lady. Nefertiti has also lived peacefully with both cats and dogs when introductions are slow and everyone remembers their manners, so she may do well in a multi-pet home with a thoughtful introduction. Mochi is an 11 month old kitty who never really had her kitten kindergarten, so we've been working on that in our group. She is a stout girl, built more like a British Short hair rather than the American SH cat but her face is more like the American type. She is friendly, very playful, and sweet. She is up to date on her vaccines and spayed. Her adoption fee is $100.

I adopted Patches over ten years ago when I was in college. She became my comfort animal and we have been through a lot together. We’ve moved around a lot so she can adjust pretty quickly to new environments. She is a sweet kitty, and loves to play. She is patient with my toddler daughter but has batted at her as a warning a few times which has been a concern. She does get a long with other pets after time and some patience. I’ve never had any other pets but her so she’s not used to it. She can be territorial to strange cats and dogs but it’s more of protection. She is a cat so she keeps to herself but can be loving and affectionate. She’s getting older and can be quite ornery but is still mobile and playful. It’s hard to part with her but my child’s safety comes first. It hasn’t been constant only a handful of times and no damage, but I don’t want to risk it. I just want to find her a nice home where she feels comfortable.
