Story
Meet Nefertiti
Don’t let the poker face fool you. This cloud-soft white beauty is slowly but surely deciding that maybe humans are worth her time. She’s mastered the art of mysterious independence, but catch her in the right mood and you’ll be rewarded with the most delightful little chirps you’ve ever heard.
Fair warning: she runs a covert sock redistribution operation. You will lose socks. You will find them in unexpected places. This is not up for negotiation.
A night owl at heart, she prefers to conduct her toy auditions after midnight—very important work. Nefertiti is looking for a patient home that will let her warm up on her own terms. And when she does? Totally worth the wait.
Her regal looks have us guessing she may have some British Shorthair in her background, possibly mixed with a touch of Persian cat—but like many rescue cats, her exact lineage is a mystery. Because of her beautiful white coat, she does get tear stains that need a quick daily wipe to keep her looking her best. Think of it as part of the royal grooming routine for this elegant lady.
Nefertiti has also lived peacefully with both cats and dogs when introductions are slow and everyone remembers their manners, so she may do well in a multi-pet home with a thoughtful introduction.
