Story
I am a Home Health Pediatric Nurse. Two months ago I've relocated a stray cat (Bear) from my patient’s apartment complex to my backyard because He was extremely skinny with cuts around his neck/face & bald red/wet spots on shoulders, but I already took him to the vet for treatment. Plus he got all 4 vaccines and deworming meds, and he is scheduled to be neutered on December 6th. I have moved Bear indoor with me since the cold front arrived in beginning of November, but I have to leave him upstairs away from my two cats because they showed aggression toward Bear and not want to share the space with him. Bear may look grumpy due to being bullied and living off the streets, but he's super sweet and affectionate, and does not show any aggression toward my cats or the other pets in my neighborhood. I was hoping to adopt Bear, but I don’t want to stress my cats out and put everyone in danger. Pls help find him a home. I can help pay for his food/treats/ litter for first 6 months.

Story
Meet Medusa. I adopted her from Baytown animal shelter in 2022. She is two years old & birth month is July. She is the sweetest & most loving kitty. Her & I had an instant connection. Unfortunately, my 5 month old daughter is allergic. She absolutely adores our kids. She gets along with our dog but they aren’t like bffs. Medusa also gets along with other cats. She loves snuggles on the couch when we’re watching tv. She also enjoys her toys & the morning & sometimes evening zoomies. I’m looking for her to have a home that will love her just like we do & a home that she will be happy in. Medusa broke her back right leg in March of this year. It was a freak accident with the neighbors dog. It has healed & you wouldn’t have ever guessed she went through that. She is resilient!

Story
This is Dot. She came to us as a stray the day before hurricane Beryl & she was in rough shape. I brought her in to bring her back to health. We didn’t have plans to keep her, but my older kids became attached, of course. Unfortunately, my 5 month old is allergic. Dot is the sweetest thing even though her life seemed to start out rough. She loves our kids very much & is besties with our dog. She loves snuggles, & to follow you everywhere to see what you’re doing. She has a big personality. She’s still pretty young. I’d say about 5-6 months old. Dot has lots of energy & loves to play. She’s a good kitty though. She most certainly knows her name & what ‘no’ means. She would go great in a home with kids. She needs a forever home that will love her just as we do.
