Story
Kitty is about 3 1/2 years old. She came to us as a stray 3 years ago. Her time as a stray left her pretty timid, but she is sweet and loving once she warms up. She's very playful, and loves curling up for a nap next to her person. She is stressed easily by other animals, which has led to periodically marking her territory by urinating outside the litter box. We have another adult cat, and have tried everything we can to ease her stress with nothing seeming to help. We feel she would do well in a home with no other animals. She's never lived with children or dogs, but we assume they may be a source of stress for her as well. Need to rehome her ASAP, as our landlord is giving us an ultimatum. Would love to find a nice quiet home for her with someone who will be patient with her and turn on the tap water for her occasionally, because drinking from the faucet is her absolute favorite thing!

Story
Salem is truly a special kitten. She showed up at the door step of a neighbor about 3-4 mos ago and the neighbor could not keep her. They sat food and water out for her and let the office I work at nearby know. We went to get her and unfortunately, she was gone. She popped up again, only this time on the CMHS website. She was available for foster, so I wasted no time. It was a foster fail as I fell in love with her spunky little personality and how well she adapted to my 3 year old boxer dog, Marlowe. I have had a lot happen in the past couple weeks and unfortunately, I am not able to keep both Marlowe and Salem. I believe with how young Salem still is and with how easy going she has proven to be, a new home now is the best option for her. I believe whichever family she ends up with should be as great for her as I know she will be for them.

Story
Alistair is a friendly indoor-outdoor cat who is very popular in my neighborhood. He has loads of personality, including a few quirky traits, e.g. sometimes he pees in the human toilet to avoid going out in the snow! Alistair is really a swell little guy. We love him a lot. The reason we are re re-homing him is that he has developed a strong rivalry with another cat in the neighborhood, resulting in frequent trips to the vet by the other cat. Alistair was feral when he was younger (before joining our household), and attempts to convert him to an entirely indoor lifestyle have so far failed. Reluctantly, I am searching for a new home for Alistair in order to protect the other cat.
