Story
My roommate and I adopted Bella and her brother, Toulouse (bonded pair), in September of 2024 from the Humane Rescue Alliance in DC. Both cats are just under 2 years old now, and looking for a new home that is safe and loving. They are both very sweet, playful, and easy to care for! We are moving out of our apartment and looking for a new home for them by the end of May. We would greatly appreciate any inquiries.

Story
Sakura is a gorgeous brown tabby British Shorthair. She was left on the street to fend for herself. Her health deteriorated from neglect. She is safe now! Sakura is truly a success story. She came to us weak, thin and sick. She came down with FIP but survived through FIP treatment. She had an eye issue that had to be operated on by a veterinary eye doctor. The poor thing was getting chronic upper respiratory infections. She has a smushed in face. We took her to a specialist that operated on her to widen her nasal passages. She can breath much easier. She is a calm gentle sweet cat like the British Shorthair bred cats. Loves attention. Gets along fine with other cats. Because of her past medical history and her breed we would like to see her go to a home with experience caring for British Shorthair cats. She should be in a quiet home. She is a warrior!!! Fostered in Fairfax

Story
Stevie is a wonderful cat. She is rotund, easy to take care of, not scared of people or pets. I’m sure she would need time adjusting to a new home but she gets along great with my other cat and dog. I am very sad to rehome her. We would not have any issues if it were not for a traumatic event that happened when we were out of town for an extended period of time and the person we trusted to change the litter box did not. She HAS returned to the box, but we have to keep her confined in a room in our small townhome, otherwise she will go on the carpet in the same spot she used during the event. She NEVER went outside the box before that happened. I do not want to have her live in this small room forever by herself. She deserves to have a full life (not in a small basement room). Please message me for more info and I can clarify any questions. We love her and want her to be happy.

Story
He is 5 years old. I'm hoping to find a patient and quiet home for him. I believe he needs a home with no other pets, kids, and just a good amount of space to move around. He isn't good with being in households with plants. He will find a way to get to them no matter where they are and will eat them.He is a sweet cat that gets attached to people, but will become aggressive with other animals that enter his space. Overall he's a very loving cat he just needs someone that will love only him.
