Story
Meet Sweeney, the wide-eyed shy girl with a heart full of love waiting to bloom! She’s looking for a patient and loving family to give her the extra TLC she deserves. While Sweeney may start off a little timid, once she’s in your lap, her walls come down. She'll nuzzle her head into your arms, soaking up the affection she’s longed for, showing her gratitude in the sweetest ways. When Sweeney is with her siblings and foster friends, her playful side takes over. She loves to wrestle, climb, and chase toys, revealing a spirited and adventurous kitten just waiting for the right family to help her blossom. Her favorite toy ever is empty paper rolls! She will pick them up and hold them in her little paws and play with them for hours! Sweeney is a water girl! She can’t resist the allure of the sink faucet, where she loves to bat at the running water and splash around! She would love to be at the sink with you every morning to help you brush your teeth! While Sweeney might be a bit reserved at first, once she feels safe in your lap, she’ll melt into you, nuzzling her head into your arms and soaking up every bit of love she can get. It’s in those quiet, tender moments that you’ll see just how much gratitude she holds in her tiny heart. Sweeney is 4 months old as of Sept 14 2024 and fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. His combo test was negative. She needs to be adopted with one of his foster friends/sibling, or into a home with another young cat. Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one Sweeney’s siblings: Gracin: https://tinyurl.com/LLARgracin1 Kiera: https://tinyurl.com/LLARkiera Check out more photos of Sweeney and her siblings here: IttyBitty Litter Interested in learning more about her? Story
Tigger can do many things; sometimes things that are difficult to believe. But one thing he cannot do (that we know of) is type, so he has asked us to serve as his scribe and tell his story. This boy is an incredibly affectionate and inquisitive little weirdo. He says he prefers the term "eccentric". He was born on a very kind person’s deck, where he struggled to breathe and sneezed so much that it was bloody. He was loving from the start and often preferred human affection to food (that the rest of the colony VERY MUCH preferred). This is how he came from the mean streets of a suburban deck to the life of a domestic, pampered, indoor baby: he has since been cared and loved dearly and was nursed back to a healthy and loving little baby! Having gone through a severe cold when he was a tiny baby has left him with some mild scaring and thus sometimes he sounds like he is "congested" and you will often hear him sneezing, similarly to a lot of humans that have mild allergies. The vet said this is a very common condition and doesn’t affect his quality of life at all. He gets lysine to keep his immune system healthy and doesn't let it bother him. His adopter will just need to watch for flare-ups and get him medication when needed. He also has an eyelid deformity, so his eye waters sometimes. But don't let that watery eye fool you. He's not a sad kitty! He is happy and adventurous and maybe a little silly. He LOVES people and dogs. He gets along with cats, even if rambunctious kittens sometimes annoy him. He would be so ideal for someone who wants a fun and loving (and fun-loving) companion, with or without other pets. If you're his parent(s), he's good. Just show him love and be understanding of his special needs, and he'll be just fine Tigger is less than a year old and already has been through alot of change. He adapts well in new environments and he immediately becomes best friends with everyone! Especially if you give him his favorite spring toy or some Churu treats! We can tell you with 100 percent certainty he will entertain you endlessly and you will love him instantly. (And, no, he didn't tell us to type that.) Tiger is fully vetted: neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. He tested negative for FIV and Felv. Story
Bluebell was a TNVR (trap, neuter, vax, return). He sports the fashionable tipped ear, which makes for a great story about his previous life of hardship. It's believed he had a home at one time, but the owners moved away and left him behind to fend for himself. Lucky for him, he was near a colony with a caregiver that started looking out for him. She then took him in to see how he would do after reaching out to Paws to see if we could help find him his furever home. Bluebell was a little shy when he first arrived, but enjoyed the loves when you would go to him. He now jumps up to greet you, rubs on your legs, and seeks out all the attention. He loves to play, but he's more cuddlebug than entertainer. Once he warms up, he just loves to be pet and sit in your lap. He gets along with other cats and tolerates dogs. Apply today if you'd like to take this handsome fella so he has a home for the holidays! ##2203253##
