They had him vetted and returned him with the others. However, Caleb put himself in harms way by lying in the middle of the road and wandering off for days at a time. It was obvious that Caleb was not meant to be an outside cat, as he did not have the “street smarts” that the other community cats have.  What Caleb has is the “people smarts”. His foster home says he is the sweetest boy ever. He will put his paws around their necks and jump into their arms when he gets excited to see them after a day at work. This daily action is the most enthusiastic and heart warming thing ever!  Caleb had a complete veterinarian work up including bloodwork and was found to be very healthy (FIV+). Caleb loves other cats and tries to play with the fosters kitties, but sadly they don’t want to play with him. Because of this Caleb is kept separate. But when he gets his human time in their family room he shows his gratitude with lots of love, affection, and he stretches his front legs out in contentment. He also follows them everywhere around the house.  His sweet nature will melt your heart, while his bravery will inspire you. Playfulness is part of his charm, making every day a new adventure. His curiosity keeps him engaged, always ready to explore new corners of your home. To learn more about me or setup time to meet me text my foster Mom at 954-654-3606 or submit an application Favorite Treat: Catnip Favorite Toy: Hairties Favorite Nap Spot: On any sherpa blanket I can find Despite the usual orange cat stereotypes, I'm a pretty calm girl. I love having a nice, warm place to rest, but I also enjoy plenty of cuddles and head scratches. I have lots of cat foster siblings and two dog foster siblings. While I don't mind the cats, I can get cranky with the kittens, and the dogs don't bother me at all. I LOVE boxes and catnip. I'm not a fan of sweaters, though, and I haven't let my foster mom get another picture of me since Christmas.I love to snuggle under blankets and would really like for someone to let me sleep in their bed. If not, I'll be ok if I have a cozy cat bed nearby! I've been at the shelter the longest, and I can't wait to find a home of my own!

Hello, I'm Princess! To learn more about me or schedule time to meet me, text my foster mom at 954-654-3606 I was a street cat, ruling over my own colony when a rescue volunteer caught me, and helped me get spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and ear tipped! They planned to take me back to my colony until they saw that I seemed to really enjoy the VIC (Very Important Cat) treatment-- then they found me a foster mom! (No worries though- they were able to get all of my street pals sterilized as well!) My foster mom says that I am a timid girl at first, but once I warm up to you I will demand chin scritches as is my right as Princess of the castle! She also says that when I am confused and trying to puzzle something out (like her vaccum), I make "endearing noises reminiscent of a turkey," whatever that means! So if you are looking for a new Princess to rule over your castle, reach out to my foster mom! She would be happy to arrange an introduction for us.
