They had him vetted and returned him with the others. However, Caleb put himself in harms way by lying in the middle of the road and wandering off for days at a time. It was obvious that Caleb was not meant to be an outside cat, as he did not have the “street smarts” that the other community cats have.  What Caleb has is the “people smarts”. His foster home says he is the sweetest boy ever. He will put his paws around their necks and jump into their arms when he gets excited to see them after a day at work. This daily action is the most enthusiastic and heart warming thing ever!  Caleb had a complete veterinarian work up including bloodwork and was found to be very healthy (FIV+). Caleb loves other cats and tries to play with the fosters kitties, but sadly they don’t want to play with him. Because of this Caleb is kept separate. But when he gets his human time in their family room he shows his gratitude with lots of love, affection, and he stretches his front legs out in contentment. He also follows them everywhere around the house.  His sweet nature will melt your heart, while his bravery will inspire you. Playfulness is part of his charm, making every day a new adventure. His curiosity keeps him engaged, always ready to explore new corners of your home. Leader is very energetic.. Once he gets to know you, he will give you a very loud purr. Frodo and Sam are approximately 1 year old as of 6/1/24. They are neutered, vaccinated and negative FIV/FeLv. Sam and Frodo are your friendly Lord of the Rings duo! Sweet Pea and Sugar Plum are sisters who were rescued from a horrible situation living in a construction site. They are the sweetest kittens who will be happiest if adopted as a pair. Sweet Pea is black with a tiny white patch on her neck. Sugar Plum (last photo) is all black. They are spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. They are about 4 months old and weigh about 4 lbs each. Both are darlings who will sleep by your side and are also happy just cuddling together. They have been lovingly cared for in a foster home since they were 5 weeks old and are very sociable and definitely a bonded pair. They have been exclusively indoors since their rescue and we would like them to remain together as indoor cats. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sweet Pea and sister Sugar Plum. One look into their amber-green eyes and you will be in love!
