Meet Sierra! Sierra just turned 10 years old (May, 2014), is an indoor cat only, and has gorgeous tortoiseshell markings. She is spayed and is up to date on vaccines. She is a sweetheart, loving, and a great companion! We rescued her as a kitten, our friend had rescued her mother not realizing the cat was pregnant. We love her, but unfortunately, we cannot keep her due to health issues that our son was just diagnosed with. We are looking to get her into her forever home. She grew-up with three other cats, both male and female. We have a nine-year-old son, and she is great with him and other kids. She loves taking naps with us, is a mellow cat, but also loves playing with her toys. Sierra is a wonderful cat! If you think you have the perfect home for Sierra, we would love to hear from you!

Peanut is an adorable rescue kitten that we took in about four weeks ago. He was born in a friend’s barn, but sadly, his mother was found dead, hit by a car, when he was only a few weeks old. Our veterinarian says that he is probably just over eight weeks old now. He weighs about 3 pounds, and is 100% silly, playful kitten energy. He LOVES our three other cats, two dogs and two children! (Yes, it is as crazy as it sounds at our house.) Unfortunately, at our second visit to the vet, we got the bad news that Peanut tested positive for feline leukemia. After about two weeks of being sequestered for the safety of the other cats, we tested him again, with the hope that his first had been a false positive. No luck. Our vet (as well as everything we’ve read online) indicates that even with vaccines, cats with FeLV should not mix with those without it. Rather than sentence Peanut to a life of isolation, we are hoping to find him a new, loving home.
